It's fascinating to see all the children follow because an interesting and strange man has entered the town. You have such a natural aura of kindness that they are organically comforted by your presence. (let's consider the crappy environment those kids are raised in) - you are like a magical SAINT with strange pictures on your arms talking alien language ... and they follow like Pied Piper 🥰 there's something really beautiful about it. Children don't judge, they are led by feelings .. and they follow you with such enthusiasm - like ants to sugar. That was my favorite part of the video. You are so sweet to everyone you meet - and so accepting. These videos are special - thank you for sharing. 🌹

Great walk around the area Sean. The ankle biters a bit of a nuisance and guessing they must all be on school holidays, that many around. You are right everybody friendly and happy to be on camera. Soomer or later I can picture some locals inviting you to join them, sit around and tuck into some food and have a few beers with them. First day out and about and plenty to do and see. Cheers buddy. Interesting times ahead. I hope you sort out the food situation soon so you can have a good solid meal and not have to live of just fruit or Jollibee. I reckon once you hit the touristy areas of Manila there will be multiple options like any other city in the world. Cheers buddy. It was fun 🤩

Hope you enjoy the Philippines mate. I'm off in may for three weeks. Loads of interesting areas in metro Manila area. Try head to BCG area in Makati city. If you want to try some nice flipino cusine try si sig or chicken Adobo. Enjoy your time mate, looking forward to see your vlogs.
Other areas in manila like Batangas, Angeles and tagantay. Don't know if you're heading to Cebu , but if you do go to mactan beach in lapu lapu city Cebu. Honestly it's the best beach in Asia.

Cheers buddy, they need re locating, there's no fresh water hear, no toilets to speak of, the river is they sewer, there is a drainage system but that is blocked with rubbish
Fantastic matey I was in the Philippines in November visiting stepson who lives in Davao City. Notice all the signs are in English. Great to see more of Manila though. Nice one fella

@@thedeadhorse 30 degrees cloudy there today. Pretty much same as most areas of the Philippines, the odd shower etc. Boracay Island is the main tourist draw in the Philippines. We did Bohol panglao and Alona Beach a few yrs ago. All good stuff.
Tondo is the area you mentioned, it’s the largest slum in Manila with a population of 631,000, a section of it is called Happyland, Barangay 101, where 12,000 people live on a dumpsite with big piles of rubbish, they literally live on other people’s trash!

Great video Sean! If you want some WW2 history visit Corregidor Island. It was fought iover by Japanese and American forces. You can visit the bombed out buildings and the artillery guns and mortors. would make a good vlog. It's easily accessable, cose to Manila.

Official language is English so they speak good English mostly. Do recommend to go to Coron Island which next to Palawan!!!!! Both islands are paradise

Pasay was the first place I stayed on my first visit more than 30 years ago.
I was accompanied by a Filipino work colleague and we stayed at his mums a night before catching a flight to Cebu and staying in the family compound on Mactan Island. I now have many in-laws scattered around the Philippines and have visited many times over the years, but have not been now for sometime.
I wish you well on your visit and be careful about eating balut :-)

They are the original inhabitants from the PI from some 30 k years ago and are physically different.
