Such cool styling, such expensive prices, such bad fitment. I tried the Peninsula pants in that awesome camo, the regular length came down to my ankles (I have a 32” inseam); the armor pads were below my knee AND rolled to the inside of my leg. Disappointing.
After shooting this video, REV'IT! changed the name of the Element Jacket to the Component H2O Jacket. No other features of the Jacket changed though. www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/revit-component-h2o-jacket
Due to own experience the abrasion resistance is not very good. I slipped in a roundabout on very slow speed in winter and the elbow protectors were exposed already after only slipping a few feet. Ripstop worked fine though but jacket is not waterproof anymore. Best combination for this jacket is a proctection jacket with this jacket in combination. For offroad the jacket is fine and i will probably buy it again if the price drops.
Maybe someone who is willing to pay for an enduro jacket with abrasion resistance which looks like a jersey... As i can see from the specs, the material is ripstop cordura.
If you wore the proteus armoured jacket, under jacket? Would you recommend wearing an abrasion resistant jacket over it? Or could you just wear a regular top/hoody etc? I’m thinking about road riding.
In the colder months I'll toss a cheap wind breaker in my backpack in case it gets cold on the way home. I tuck the hood under my backpack strap but if it comes out it flaps around like crazy. Even better if the draw strings get loose, it's like a drum solo on your helmet lmao
It's about time, Revit.
You can take off thw hood..
But the pricing is insane though.
Murderous pricing indeed!
I wonder why the Component jacket is not compatible with the Rev'it Segur neck brace, which is supposed to be used in enduro and adventure riding...

Thanks for the review. So I just changed my mind and ordered Revit Continent pants.
Same happens to me

Would you consider the abrasion resistance for the jacket sufficient for road riding?

Ridiculous pricing
What size of jersey he is wearing?
Whos going to pay almost $200 for a jersey?
Maybe someone wearing it to Starbucks on a $25k BMW GS1250..

Of course you should. The Proteus' fabric will rip to pieces the moment you hit pavement at any speed.
This just needs removable sleeves
A hood makes absolutely no sense on a motorcycle jacket, might as well have a parachute attached...
