Hi. They are at most splash proof. For me this is perfect because there is no membrane inside which means better breathing. Which in the end results in more universal product that can be used in different conditions. If you need waterproof pants just add a cheap membrane on top ;)
@@ADV.NO.Mad1 Thank you. For a waterproof jacket it is easier to solve the problem with my Scott Ergonomic waterproof jacket over whatever jacket I use. With the pants it's a bit trickier. I really need something waterproof and that I can keep on me while `am working as removing overpants is not convenient for me. Again, thank you.
If you want overpants that are easy to put on and off look for one with long zippers and two sizes too big. There are some military membrane pants that have zippers up to the belt, so to put them on it is a breeze 😉 But if you have something that works for you then stick with it and don't listen to some random guy from the internet 😀
Well I'm guessing that knee pad protector for all sizes is same and only the circumference is changing, I suggest to contact REV’IT! Customer Service for more info, they are very helpful ;) As for me 197cm around 100kg Scram size - L; Proteus and Sierra - XL; Continent - XL long; Blackwater XXL
@@ADV.NO.Mad1 may be k ask 1 more question, what is your calves size, my is ~40cm I contact the customer support and they arrested not really helpful :( the size chart is very confusing and they said I order both (lmao)
I bought these Continent pants a year ago but a big disappointment actually. Around the branch, the water passes through. And that is the most important area. So they are not 100% waterproof
I don't think that Revit ever cold them waterproof, they are at most splash proof. For me this is perfect because there is no membrane inside which means better breathing.
Great review!! TY!!
Thanks, nice review, I have almost the same, just instead of blackwater, I have the component one,. same pants same knee protections and proteus :)
Currently I'm switching between Proteus and Nucleus. I'm so on edge with both of them, one has to go but I'm having a hard time deciding ;)
Great content. I just bough the Continent plants off the back of this review. Many thanks.
Thank you very much, I hope that the pants will work for you as well as they work for me.
