Most of you need to understand why he has a hard time speaking.. Stuttering is a sign of high intelligence and he's also an a vinous introvert. Yet another sigh of high intelligence.
Lol, He is reading from a sort of autocue. As you can see he is waiting constantly in between looking at the right bottom corner. See interviews of him, nothing special.
That's cool man.. I'm speaking from a background in human psychology and behavioral studies so to be honest that pretty null and illogical. Speech patterns have absolutely nothing to do with social personality but neurological personality. Understanding ones psychology patterns will tell you if he's cool with you or not.
all these people saying he isn't good at presenting. why don't you go stand up on a stage with a couple of thousand people looking at you and lets all see how well you present a presentation like that. like yea he had some silences and what not but who cares, hes a genius. who remembers doing home work and then having to stand up in front of the class and present it and who remembers the feeling. well thats probably the feeling hes going through right now. dont say things about others when your most probably the same.
I'm here after the cybertruck. The new car looks dope af. So I enjoy to see how Tesla became what it is today. Hope they will achieve a lot more in the future
+lucky vampy Unfortunately for you, the used prices remain very high! The typical things that make car prices go down like rusty exhausts, old belts, old transmissions, etc don't really apply here.
They are certainly dominating the EV market, but not the entire vehicle industry yet. I cant wait until the day every car on the road is either a Tesla or an EV
Elon said at the launch that the Performance Model X would do 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds (22:47). At the time of writing the Model X P100D does 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds. Wow! Under-promise and over-deliver!
@@_rileyweaver_637 the Model X was first released in 2015, and the performance version did 0 to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. Significantly faster than what Elon said in the reveal event. www.whatcar.com/news/2015-tesla-model-x-suv-revealed-specs-pictures-and-release-date/n1233
Apple does presentation in a grand level and unecessary hype for gadgets but Tesla has simple and authentic presentation for a more innovation product. I think they focus more on innovation and technology than a marketing mimic company
This presentation would've been very cool if you added swoosh sound effects to the beginning of each slide. That would resolve the issue of 'dead' silence between them.
IMightBeJesus69 As an addition, from a pure marketing perspective the slide @ 24:51 seems very cheesy. :/ I'm sure the model X will sell itself, but I hope my comments aren't coming across as discerning and make future Tesla presentations even better.
***** hydrogen is a terrible fuel from an engineering stand point as compaired to battery/capacitor storage. it will be derived from oil, it will need an entirely new infrastructure, it will be stored at 10 000 psi so will always be a potential kinetic and subsequently chemical energy bomb and it will leak through the most microscopic gap or crack owing to its very small molecule. also you'll end up paying a similar price per mile at the pump compared to petrol. There are very few people indeed who travel more than 300 miles in a day, i haven’t travelled more than 300 miles in a day in the last 7 years of driving but if i did have the need and couldnt take a break to charge (it is a very good idea to break your journey after 300 miles, tiredness kills!) then i would buy an efficient diesel. In my opinion once you have a 150 mile range at 70mph your average speed over any distance will be the same as an internal combustion vehicle, like i say the driver needs to stop even if the car doesn’t!
Extraordinary. It means a lot to see a car launched 10 years ago as current as it is today, congratulations to the Tesla team for this beautiful technology. Thank you, Elon Musk for existing and being so amazing and visionary. I wish and dream to be part of your team, "man of the future". I love you very much 🤍🖤🤎💜💙💚💛🧡❤
fried tuna not really. the other batteries are very heavy already. the handling would at most be minimally changed. the bigger problem would be having a very special and exposed part, with also the risk of exposing the high power battery system. that might be too much risk for now, especially now that they're still in the media focus. With model 3 and the price coming down, more people will start modifying. At some point somebody will probably come up with the addition of an extra battery pack or even a gasoline range extender. To do this officially though for Tesla right now is a little too risky and not really worth the effort.
I love Elons' opening statement "If you dont make electric cars better, then it's not going to happen" He hit it out of the ball park with this car. The real hilarity of it all is companies like BMW,MB,AUDI,FERRARI,LAMBO,FORD with hundreds of millions more in available capital for R&D are sitting on the sideline kicking rocks with the same old technology year in and year out and calling it the latest automobile, lol! They should all be embarrased at what TESLA has done given all the obstacles
As a big Tesla fan, the cyber truck event was terrible. And I’m not even talking about the cracked windows. It was way too short and didn’t show all the features of the truck. Real missed opportunity. I think the truck will sell and will be successful, I just wish the presentation had been better.
This car is exactly what I want. Sure, right now all the maintenence has to be by tesla, but that will not last as soon as more mechanics learn this new technology, and after that when it becomes standard, you will get a hobbyist culture. There are actually a very small electric car battery sub culture that exists, this will expand and grow with the market. Just like when iphones first came out, you only had apple geniuses, now you can learn how to fix your own iphone on youtube if you dare.

No, 2013.
dlwatib uploaded in 2012?
harbeh ya Tesla has crazy technology lol!
Reading this in 2018 from inside a Model 3
No its 2019
TH-cam: So you've seen the cybertruck, ah, let me remind you about the model X again
Who else is ready for the Model Y Unveil??!
Apavlakos I’m here after it was siick
Its the front of the model 3 and back of the model x
im not , its too good
i am
Elon just unveiled the CyberTruck
Looks at thumbnail: that’s a nice looking car, 2020 models looking amazing!
Looks at date posted: surprised PikaChu face
“You watched one Tesla video?”
Here’s another!
12 years ago. Me sitting in my living room watching this live. I'm putting my order in for a refresh model 3 in a month
L O V E my model X. Nearly 24,000 miles and not even a year. Tows a trailer like its NOT THERE. Awesome car.
Most of you need to understand why he has a hard time speaking.. Stuttering is a sign of high intelligence and he's also an a vinous introvert. Yet another sigh of high intelligence.
100% agree
100% agree
or just nervous
Lol, He is reading from a sort of autocue. As you can see he is waiting constantly in between looking at the right bottom corner. See interviews of him, nothing special.
That's cool man.. I'm speaking from a background in human psychology and behavioral studies so to be honest that pretty null and illogical. Speech patterns have absolutely nothing to do with social personality but neurological personality. Understanding ones psychology patterns will tell you if he's cool with you or not.
13:55 was Tesla's OG iPhone moment
all these people saying he isn't good at presenting. why don't you go stand up on a stage with a couple of thousand people looking at you and lets all see how well you present a presentation like that. like yea he had some silences and what not but who cares, hes a genius.
who remembers doing home work and then having to stand up in front of the class and present it and who remembers the feeling. well thats probably the feeling hes going through right now. dont say things about others when your most probably the same.
I'm here after the cybertruck. The new car looks dope af. So I enjoy to see how Tesla became what it is today. Hope they will achieve a lot more in the future
Can’t believe this video was in 2012. (Today is 2022) still looks new.
i love Tesla cars, but unfortunately i cant afford them ;( i wish one day i can buy a 2nd hand tesla model s 85kWh.
+lucky vampy Unfortunately for you, the used prices remain very high! The typical things that make car prices go down like rusty exhausts, old belts, old transmissions, etc don't really apply here.
+StalePhish Trashed batteries do
Model 3..... is here
StalePhish The Model S is pretty cheap now.
@@yammmit even cheaper now!
Nobody:
Elon Musk: Reveals Cybertruck
TH-cam: Let’s recommend this.
Samivan 911 Nobody: I like the Ford Focus
Everybody: am I a joke to you?
Seeing the fact that the model x is 10 years old is really surprising. Holy cow
Mr IRON MAN.
Does the extended options package include a flux capacitor?
The model X was wayyyyyyyy ahead of its time
Damn I love this company
Elon reminds me of having to do a presentation in front of your class 😂
Personally, I like the way Musk talks. He reads the text so obviously and clumsily, but he gives the presentation a human face. It inspires trust.
Thats a pretty interactive Audience.
It's like Apple fanboys.
kraenk12
Lachmund More like a a group of Fandroids... :)
This is the day every other car company laughed their ass off but look at it now ... Tesla trucks ect. Tesla is taking over the vehicle industry.
They are certainly dominating the EV market, but not the entire vehicle industry yet. I cant wait until the day every car on the road is either a Tesla or an EV
After 8 years little company from California is 10times bigger than GM. That's something innovative.
Elon said at the launch that the Performance Model X would do 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds (22:47). At the time of writing the Model X P100D does 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds. Wow! Under-promise and over-deliver!
2.7 second 2020:)
@RpM_Evan Yes
That's because the Model X of 2014 or whenever this was had older and worse technology than the Model X of 2019-20.
The car doesn’t change but the software does.
Model X is by far the best looking car even in the current year 2022..!!
It’s 2019 and this is just now being recommended lmao
2024 gang
👇
So here we're in 2021. What a ride it has been!
Proud shareholder, and due to that soon owner of a Tesla.
I think Elon got a face lift in 2019
He will get a redesign in 2021
Sam Lung 2025*
I’m now a multi millionaire. Thanks to this video.
Wut how would u mind like..telling me how cause like I wouldn’t mind being a millionaire
@@hawasamit2941 I watched this video and invest $20000 into Tesla
Omg this was 7 years ago i thought this car was like 2018 omg Tesla is really ahead of its time
TH-cam recommending this 9 years later..
9 YEARS LATER..
2019 and its still very interesting to watch
I especially admire how he‘s kept to his philosophy. In the end it’s not about the products but the idea behind it.
Notice how Frans had to manually open/close the rear hatch?
Get ready for the Model X II in 2015.
I'll be waiting here in Colombia. I know, someday I'll have a Tesla. Thank you Elon for Sharing your Dream, wich now is OUR DREAM.
Elon, it snows in Reno... where does all that snow go when the doors open?

hydrogen is a terrible fuel from an engineering stand point as compaired to battery/capacitor storage. it will be derived from oil, it will need an entirely new infrastructure, it will be stored at 10 000 psi so will always be a potential kinetic and subsequently chemical energy bomb and it will leak through the most microscopic gap or crack owing to its very small molecule. also you'll end up paying a similar price per mile at the pump compared to petrol.
2012: nah
2013: nah
2014: nope
2015: yeah still no
2016: naw
2017: naw
2018: nope
2019: Ok so let's recommend this 7 years old video
K
Extraordinary. It means a lot to see a car launched 10 years ago as current as it is today, congratulations to the Tesla team for this beautiful technology. Thank you, Elon Musk for existing and being so amazing and visionary. I wish and dream to be part of your team, "man of the future". I love you very much
🤍🖤🤎💜💙💚💛🧡❤
You tube recommendation 2024😅
I'm watching in 2018 and I can tell you, the Model X is a popular great car!
Go TESLA!
TH-cam is still recommending this..😍
I'm so glad the front grill is changed
It was 11 years ago!?
Protected for tha rain 🔥🔥Elon Musk
is Combination of All Scientist 🔥
I wish I could fill up the Frunk with Batteries. I'm sure It would increase the range by at least a hundred miles.
They should make that an option.
Justin Grindley IKR
fried tuna not really. the other batteries are very heavy already. the handling would at most be minimally changed. the bigger problem would be having a very special and exposed part, with also the risk of exposing the high power battery system. that might be too much risk for now, especially now that they're still in the media focus.
With model 3 and the price coming down, more people will start modifying. At some point somebody will probably come up with the addition of an extra battery pack or even a gasoline range extender.
To do this officially though for Tesla right now is a little too risky and not really worth the effort.
Two words: fire hazard
2A Model X does 0-60 now in 2.9 sec. with dual motors and the new battery pack.
no one:
Literally no one:
TH-cam: lets recommend this 9 years later
same thing happened to me, lol!
Same
2021 their stuff is still awesome even after covid.
I'm here after he became the richest man in the world. He deserves every single bit of it
I love Elons' opening statement "If you dont make electric cars better, then it's not going to happen" He hit it out of the ball park with this car.
Tesla: Uploads in 2012
TH-cam: Send it to recommended after 9 years
Me: Seriously why didn’t you show me earlier?
TH-cam: Yes let's recommend this now.
Waiting for this stunning car to be released. However, next year i am strongly considering Model S 70D.
***** i'd get (and will get) the Model S over the X simply because im not a fan of SUV's
You got it?
Can't wait till this car comes out!!!
**elon musk stutters**
my brain: **obama meme**
Elon: check out my feet
Obama: hold my beer
Wow so cool I am not at all 12 years late
Steve jobs knew how to sell a product in the correct manner, Elon knows how to make a product in the correct manner
Now compare the Cybertruck presentation to this one.
As a big Tesla fan, the cyber truck event was terrible. And I’m not even talking about the cracked windows. It was way too short and didn’t show all the features of the truck. Real missed opportunity. I think the truck will sell and will be successful, I just wish the presentation had been better.
@@xyzzy4567 agreed. He even skipped a few slides of the presentation
Title: Tesla Model X Reveal
Me: nice
I remember my mom watching this video and it was her dream car. Now she has one in the garage
Anybody else think Elon looks a bit like GSP?
yes lol
One day I'll own a Tesla,
I am so glad that they changed the texture of the model X!
