- The iconic trio of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, Ratna Pathak Shah, JD Majethia and Aatish Kapadia, recently returned with their latest offering Happy Family Conditions Apply on Amazon Prime Video. Before the show's release, the trio, along with the new addition Raj Babbar, got in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Akash Bhatnagar. The team spoke about the evolution of Gujarati families in their shows and expressed frustration towards the stereotyping of Gujaratis that happens in Bollywood. While Raj Babbar expressed his surprise at the makers considering him for a comedy, Ratna Pathak Shah went unfiltered on the reason behind increased roles for women above a certain age in Bollywood. She discussed the effect of OTT and how it has made many people obsolete and lashed out at people in the industry for the overkill in the medium. She discussed the lack of creativity in Bollywood and how being in the public eye affects her family. Check out the entire conversation here!

Ratna Pathak is a star and delivers amazingly in the show, however some of the other supporting actors could have been a bit better.

Infact your show is insulting higher class educated gujarati community / caste and showing them in most degrading level. If u do this show w/o attaching the surname or gujarati culture then its much more accepting.

Why she always keeps on complaining
I've watched all episodes of 'Happy Family' and It's not funny at all. Though I liked Ratna Pathak's role, the overall show is feeding you 'Sanskar of the Modern World' sugar-coated in lukewarm comedy.
This Amazon prime series based on a Gujarati family wasn't a surprise at all , at this time period considering all the non traditional (some fake) characteristics of the characters involved here ... the one who is well mannered is represented as a buddhu .
Please make a webseries on Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.
