I took my first class in statistics in1962. Not so much fun then. Funny though how the professor (Frank German) never suggested Pivot Tables! LOL. Would have made life SO much easier!!

Sorry Mike, I forgot something to ask: is it possible that you show in any video the following (maybe you did already, but I didn't find anything): you have a row of numbers (no matter what) and you want build the average out of this with leaving out e.g. the 5 or 10 highest AND lowest values with a simple formula. 1000 thanks! 🙏🙏🙏

@@excelisfun Thanx, Mike, but that doesn't help at all because in this example you need your datas in a sorted range. Maybe you know it from ski jumping. There are always 5 referees giving notes for the execution of the jump, the highest and the lowest note are not taken into accout, only the three middle average. Or in golf game: you have played 20 rounds and only the 10 middle results will fix your handicap. You know what I mean?

Michael, my raw data is not a proper data set. there will be major headers under which some minor headers will be there and in middle some junk data will be there. Say for example my customer is trading in stocks. I want data in totallistic manner but he gives me data in scrip wise. major heading = buy under that there will be three sub headings like buy qty , buy rate per unit, total buy amount. My problem is its taking too much of time in transforming raw data into proper data set. Pls find a solution for me.
