I saw this show a few times during the 1991 season. This is the ONLY hornline I saw that DID NOT warm up at the beginning of their show!!! It was insane!!! As a matter of fact that sound I have never heard before. It was a full, rich, bold, full body sound. It was immaculate and memorable. They were the number 1 corps in the world at that time, just winning the previous year.

I think it's time to show you Star's 1993 show. Certainly an interesting one and completely opposite of what you'd expect a dci show to be, especially back then

I thought you would like the take on many of the iconic American Anthems👍😁 You also hit the nail right on the head that at the time of this show, the country still had hate and bullying as well as a divide between social classes but it at least felt like we were all trying to move in a direction together to improve these disparities. Today, after working so hard to gain LGBTGA+ rights, develop more of a middle class with racially diverse suburbs and schools and helped so many find a place of refuge from a country from which they came where they were without hope. Now, I feel as if for most Americans, there is no desire to work across parties to continue that America and more than any time in my 49 years, we are purposely being divided by rich politicians who know that if we are fighting amongst each other, they can go on raking in all of our money without the masses noticing! I refuse to be a pawn in that system so I will continue to try to get my fellow Americans to remember when we all may still have been from different parties but we had discussions that ultimately helped move us AS A PEOPLE in the right direction. I miss those days😢
