there are different sound bars some only support audio, some are capable of bypassing video signal. and maximum low budget soundbars only support audio. also if you want a proper surround sound system then invest in a good AVR with wooden speakers 😊🙏

no you can not connect speakers. that HDMI ARC out port is to connect with your tv. you can connect other HDMI devices like firetv stick or dvd player to your soundbars HDMI input 1 or HDMI input 2.

ok so your hometheater is with dvd player so that is the reason there are no digital input options. so one thing which you can do is: buy a new AVR with eARC/ARC and use your old speakers with it.

I am unable to connect sound bar through HDMI. So I have connected with Bluetooth😢. Please share your number so that I can explain you exactly. I am using 2 HDMI cables. One cable i have connected with TV HDMI 1 (ARC) and sony sound system and another one HDMI 2 connected with Jio set up box. I getting video but not sound through HDMI so I have connected with Bluetooth. Earlier I had firestik during that time I was able to play audio through HDMI and Video through Respective Apps available in the TV. After buying Jio setup box only this problem started. I asked Jio technician but couldn't get solution. I feel there is some connectivity issue. Some trick.

if you want to know that if the cable is 2.0 or 2.1 then I think it should be HDMI 2.0 only as that is sufficient for eARC/ARC so brands won't invest more by giving 2.1 cables for free.
I bought 5 hdmi cables from different places per pcs 150₹ to 200 , not single one supported HDMI ARC. But finally I got 70₹ HDMI cable and it is working fine 😂

there are different sound bars some only support audio, some are capable of bypassing video signal. and maximum low budget soundbars only support audio. also if you want a proper surround sound system then invest in a good AVR with wooden speakers 😊🙏

dear as your tv does not support digital audio. better go for a device like fire tv stick. and use soundbar hdmi in for firetv stick, and soundbar hdmi out to connect tv.

nahi. aapko soundbar nahi home theater system lena chahiye jis se ki fire tv stick asani se connect ho sake. aur yadi soundbar hi leni hai to fir yadi tv me optical output dia hai to waha se connect kijiyega soundbar ke optical port me.

ARC means Audio return channel which can take audio signals form TV to AV Reciver or soundbars, those which support ARC/eARC

I am unable to connect sound bar through HDMI. So I have connected with Bluetooth😢. Please share your number so that I can explain you exactly. I am using 2 HDMI cables. One cable i have connected with TV HDMI 1 (ARC) and sony sound system and another one HDMI 2 connected with Jio set up box. I getting video but not sound through HDMI so I have connected with Bluetooth. Earlier I had firestik during that time I was able to play audio through HDMI and Video through Respective Apps available in the TV. After buying Jio setup box only this problem started. I asked Jio technician but couldn't get solution. I feel there is some connectivity issue. Some trick.

output me " auto " ya " dolby audio " ya " arc/earc " select kijiye, yadi tv speaker select rakhenge to tv ke speaker se hi audio ayega. aur yadi koi aur issue lag raha hai to HDMI cable change kar ke dekhiye. ho jana chahiye. aur yadi fir bhi na ho to fir batiyega.

मेरे पास ifflcon 43 टीवी और zebronic soundbar है, जिसमे arc सपोर्ट करता है, लेकिन arc केबल से कनेक्ट करने पर भी साउंडबार में आवाज नही आ रहा है , उपाय बताए ।
tv me ARC ya eARC HDMI port yadi diya gaya hai to settings me audio out me "Auto" select karein, ya fir kahi aisa koi option ho jaha pe likha ho, tv speaker aur ARC/eARC to waha ARC/eARC ko select karein.

if you want to know that if the cable is 2.0 or 2.1 then I think it should be HDMI 2.0 only as that is sufficient for eARC/ARC so brands won't invest more by giving 2.1 cables for free.
I bought 5 hdmi cables from different places per pcs 150₹ to 200 , not single one supported HDMI ARC. But finally I got 70₹ HDMI cable and it is working fine 😂
