Thank you!! FINALLY a video on how to fix this issue! My only (and main) problem is when i select the menu and right click, the option to "arrange" in order to bring the menu forward is not showing. It only shows the "overlapping items" option and not the "arrange" option. I've been trying for days and I'm at wits end. I dunno what to do anymore 😞
Are you sure you are clicking on your menu and not a possible strip under the menu? You can also click and drag your menu outside of the area it's in now and then try to arrange to front again. Then move it back to where it originally was. I've had to do that before myself.
Hello! My problem is that the menu disappeared at all. I can only see it in the settings, but it´s not shown on the page itself. Also, the position of everything I put in there changes once I publish it. Hope you can recommend something. Thanks!!
This is worth a shot; I’ve been messing around with my website and it recently wouldn’t let me click anything in the menu. A while after I realized the whole website is getting stuck on the main page and won’t let me click off of it, but if you were to search the other tabs in google you’d be able to click around through the menu on the website, unless you clicked the home page, which then It would get stuck again. What do I do please help
Looks like I'm in the same place as you as something has recently happened to it in the past hour or two. Mine was working in preview, but not in live. I've just deleted it and published with one of the default menus and settings. Its working. If I then try to adjust the settings to suit my site (text, sizing), it reverts back again to not being clickable.. So not sure what's changed very recently.

However, when I go into mobile I can see the edit "menu option" that would allow me to change the look of the mobile menu. I tried poking around but no luck.

Look at your layers panel. It should let you select it and move it. Here's an article on the layers. support.wix.com/en/article/wix-editor-using-the-layers-panel
You can always add it back using the add menu like any other element. First right click your header, click arrange and move to back. If that doesn’t work, add the menu back like any other element.

You can go to your layers on the top right of the editor and see if it’s there. Or you can add it back using the plus sign. Your mobile menu shouldn’t be affected.

If it works on the mobile, the menu is there somewhere. You can try adding the menu again using the plus sign. That worked for another user that was in the same situation as you.

My MENU is gone. I tried re-stacking etc. Strange, because I had the site up no problem 2 year, then blink! Menu ( the actual TEXT MENU ) is gone. Seems like it should be showing by default. Any suggestions ?
@@WixFundamentals Yeah. I'm pretty good w/ apps that deal w/ layers, and dashboards. The only thing I recently did was to re-order my HOME PAGE. But it was working fine for several days. Then wammo it's gone: www.ymop.us
@@johnneira it's definitely still there somewhere. You mobile menu is still showing so the menu wasn't deleted. If you are on a PC, try using the control-m method to cycle through your components on that page.
Here i am 4 years after this video was created and having the same problem... damn you wix! Sadly, tried this and it still didn't work. I'm going nuts! :(

Ella, you can try adding the menu back in using the + and adding a new menu.

Do you have any elements in front of the header on the first page? Try right clicking and move to Fromt on the menu.

I can't find my menu lightbox future on my desktop website. But I can see it on my mobile phone. Is there any information. I need it to be fixed .
Check your pages in the editor. You may just need to set it to automatically show if it’s not linked to something.

Did you check to make sure it’s not behind the header or that the font color doesn’t match the header color (two issues I’ve run into before)?

When I Inspect the code on the live site, I don't see any TEXT. oh boy.
