You're from Shunde? That's funny. I teach English in Guizhou, and I had an online interview with an agency for 2 schools - one in Foshan, one in Shunde. I thought that if I move to Guangdong, I should learn some Cantonese words. If I choose Guangdong, I'll have to watch more of your videos!
yes I am from Shunde but now I live in Chancheng now. How's your interview going? I didn't really work at the school in Shunde before. I just worked at the school in Guangzhou. I heard that teaching in Shunde is so annoying. But maybe just for Chinese teachers , best for foreign teachers
I think that is Taiwan people to refer 大酒店 as funeral, not Hong Kong people. Many Hong Kong people made mistake at Taiwan when they call the hotel as 酒店 or 大酒店, because that is the typical way Hong Kong people say. But Taiwan people translate grand hotel as 大飯店。
You'd think (as a westerner) that some guy you only just met wouldn't suggest going to a brothel together. You'd be wrong. I befriended a Chinese guy I met in Thailand and it hadn't been 5 minutes before he suggested it. Sure is a different culture!
I think you should also add the top of Tai Mo Shan Me and my friends thought it was just an observatory so did not think much about the signs saying to keep out It is actually a military base, sadly we had a bad experience when we were spotted. These last few years almost all my family have left Hong Kong. I am one of the last ones remaining. However, I am staying as I still have relatives buried here and think it would be improper to abandon them as they sacrificed so much to immigrate to Hong Kong. So I am trying to relocate them first. But the 大酒店 fees are so high.
@@DopeCantonese I wish I have gotten the time and capacity to learn Cantonese, sounds a bit weird with Gegugege.. for us Westerners but a Cool language.
