I don’t mind him being so old, we’ve had like 2 different Batman trilogies, cartoons and video games. Like the new Spider-Man they needed to shake up Batman a bit to be fresh. It still was a bit by the numbers, but overall I don’t think we need a new Batman on the level of Iron Man in the MCU, let the new heroes breath.

He always wanted to make the Batman movie however with dc changing everything his script was thrown out and after hearing all the mini spin offs they will do in the future and lack of organisation that’s why he’s leaving. It’s not that bens over it I think it’s more todo with the fact Hollywood just wouldn’t do his version of Batman, Ben didn’t get a say in SS and that’s majority of Batman’s villains if he’s going to direct and write a solo film then give him a say on Batman’s villains and story!
