Matt and Ben had joint bank accounts growing up so they can help fund each other's trips to NY for auditions, they lived together, helped each other pay bills, learned lines together, and supported each other's ideas when writing together. Their friendship didn't make it through "despite" everything that's happened, THEY make it through "because" of such deep level of loyalty and love that they share with each other. I love how grumpy old men, Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon gave them their Oscar and they were best friends in that movie. I love how Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck they’re growing up to be grumpy old men’s lol. Love them all great actors.
