    Feedback on the audio:
    It's clear, but very quiet. It's almost inaudible compared to other videos and requires turning up the volume (and in turn back down).
    Should be an easy fix to increase the volume to the "common baseline" with your video or audio editing software of choice.

    This seems to be the Taoist principle of Wu Wei

    • @moredatesmorefiber3526
      @moredatesmorefiber3526 ปีที่แล้ว

      what does Wu Wei mean???

    • @NankaNemo
      @NankaNemo ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@moredatesmorefiber3526 it directly translates as "action/inaction". It more accurately translates as "non-interference" It actually is wisdom in action, but that is a longer conversation. In regards to movement: When you are shown a movement in any discipline whether it is in dance, baseball (throwing or batting) martial arts, yoga, etc., you see the outward form of the motion as demonstrated by an individual at the skill level they have mastered for that given movement. To truly perform a movement, you must find it's most efficient and effective expression. Its true nature. Not what we "think" it is, but what it truly is.. We don't let our limited minds interfere with the motion. That is a lifelong pursuit.

    • @moredatesmorefiber3526

      @@NankaNemo thid comment changed my life. thank you

    • @herrot1
      @herrot1 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@NankaNemo In my understanding Wu Wei simply means not-forcing. Not putting more force than it is needed. Like when you try to open an old rusty lock you don't twist the key. You jiggle it. Or when you drive a car and put too much pressure on the gas you might break the engine. Or when an actor does a performance, you can feel when it is really fake.
      Of course everything is related to effort in the end. But how much effort is needed for success? What is effort? The fundamental functions of our body, we are not doing with effort. They happen by themselves.

    • @NankaNemo
      @NankaNemo ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@herrot1 That's part of it. The example I gave was of motion. There's the way I think it should be done and the way (Tao) it should be done. Wisdom is doing/saying exactly the right thing at the right time. If you do the right thing at the wrong time, you interfere. If you do the wrong thing at the right time, you interfere. I've been doing Qi Quong for over 30 years and I'm still learning how to do it properly, to not interfere. To find it's true nature. The same could be said about my understanding of Wu Wei.
