I think they purposely downplayed like that to look and feel completely different to LX, also try to lure defender customers. I personally feel like it’s an upgraded 4 runner.

@OpticalAutomotive folks in the group mention it had some paint issues on the hood because of it. I'm holding on to my 2017. Let us know if you do test drive. I'm concerned of the noise. The older ones are quiet

Nice review! Personally I think the GX is a bit underwhelming for the price. I was expecting a lot more from Lexus.

It is made from really cheap plastic no worries it will fall off by itself eventually
