  • This video is filmed in 4K and is part of a series...Cornwall, England, UK
PART 7 - THE FINAL PART OF OUR CORNWALL SERIES WHERE WE VISIT THE POPPIES AT WEST PENTIRE, CRANTOCK BEACH AND HOLYWELL BAY
This is another beautiful area of Cornwall that we explore from our base at Carnewas Farm CL Campsite (featured earlier in the series). We visit the area of West Pentire and have a lovely meal at The Bowgie Inn. It is June and the poppies at West Pentire look amazing. We travel to Crantock beach where the Gannel Estuary, a tidal river, meets the sea. We visit the Fern Pit Cafe to enjoy a cup of coffee and relax in the sunshine, taking in the wonderful views across the River Gannel where ferries operate in high season from Fern Pit to Crantock beach. We move on to Holywell Bay, another huge beach backed by grass tufted sand dunes. This area was featured in Poldark Series 2. Finally we go back to the poppies at West Pentire where we are treated to an amazing sunset that reveals the poppies in all their glory.
We hope you have enjoyed seeing Cornwall through our eyes and that our travels may have given you some ideas for future places to visit.
We now move on to a brand new location, a few clips are shown at the end of this video. If you can guess where we may be please leave a comment.
