It's encouraging to find creators who make these sorts of videos as it's what I love to create, as well, but all the "TH-cam gurus" are teaching to create loud content that keeps viewers attention through gimmicks and listicals. As we have a real Christmas tree like yours we normally only have it decorated inside the house for a few days which really is a shame. I love a decorated tree. The smell of it and looking at it with homemade and eatable decors are just so beautiful. Christmas is the best time of the year. I love baking with all these lovely spices. Black pepper is also used in Danish pastry called pepper nuts. Have you ever tried the Swedish pastry/buns with Saffron called Lucia boller? They are delicious!! I am not putting one up due to the fact that I have a almost 6 month old kitten & she is a little, well a lot, mischievous lol Her name is Auggie & she is a little black panther (or so she thinks). So I'm just enjoying seeing everyone else's tree. The cookies sound interesting. Don't know about the black pepper?! Might be good though. Hope you have a wonderful time at your family's. 💚🎄☃️
Beautiful video and so peaceful. I have been baking cookies for all of my life and l learned a useful tip when making gingerbread cut out cookies. She rolled the dough on parchment paper, then removed the excess dough from around each cookie. She then slides the parchment paper with the cookies onto a baking sheet. No distortions from being moved from the counter to the cookie sheet. She placed the tray of cookies to chill for 10 minutes. This helps them to keep their shape. This was a lovely video! I live on the Texas Gulf Coast and all this week we have had very heavy fog. I love it too!! It is so calm and peaceful. We have many large old trees in our yard and when I stand still, I can actually hear the water droplets falling against their branches. The peace and serenity is something to cherish and let the imagination run. Thank you for your video. Merry Christmas!
Rose hips! From the dog rose, eglantine or..? The red color of the hips are aesthetically pleasing against the whiteness of the snow, or the grey of the mist. Very hip 😉
Every few years my children and I will celebrate what we call 12 months of Christmas. We make handmade Christmas ornaments and decorations. One for each month until Christmas and then we only use these handmade items to decorate with. It's a wonderfully beautiful and special every year to see our home decorated with love. This is my second video of yours I've watched, and I have enjoyed them so much. The first one I watched you made an apple pie. You are certainly a wonderful baker...so gentle with the dough. I like to watch my videos at night before I go to bed, and these are so relaxing. I'm look forward to the next one! Also, your Christmas tree is lovely. 😊

Pepper can be a great addition to ginger bread: hence the German "Pfefferkuchen"
