    Wow very impressed! That takes a certain talent to do that. I hv the 2023 model ( s windshield) it’s my favorite helmet specially for my Triumph bonni super comfortable good visibility and decent air flow

      Thanks Anthony for the kind words. The compressor is a Bostitch, maybe a 6 gallon. i since got an airbrush compressor, it run more often but it is much more quiet.

    Awesome job the only thing with sanding the surface to key it it will have put thousands of micro fissures in the casting that will become weak spots that will fracture if you ever have an impact.

      Thanks, I could agree with you if I was going to the bare surface material, but considering that I just scuff the paint, how are those micro fissure in the paint will affect the strength of the helmet. Although the added layer of primer, base coat, flakes + clear etc.. should add strength even if minimal 😉. A test will be a great idea 👍🏻

    What about drying time between colors and patterns how long do you wait how long did it take to create that .was it days how many hours involved. Just amazing .I love both the bike and helmet

      Helmet and tank was both made in one day, the candy is a water base and it dry pretty quickly. It have to be mix with some kind of clear to protect from bleeding.. it didn't happen so much on those but it still happen to me..

      I mean when I say one day, it is just to apply the design, taping etc.. all the prep with primer, sanding, base coat, applying clear+flakes, take another day, and when finishing, you have to apply several coat of clear and sand again to flatten the tape line. I will say from start to finish it can take 4 days, but I am sure with the perfect setup, it can be faster 😉

      For the chrome trim you can find it at your local auto parts, also on Amazon (cowles S37204 chrome edge, check if this is the right size you want).
      For the chin part you might want to contact Biltwell.

    what kind of base coat did you use? did you use the candy with clear coat and hardener?

      Hi John, primer is a Direct To Metal, high surface builder, then base coat was Silver Metallic, then Clear Coat mixed with flakes (normal mix with hardener), then 2-3 coat of Clear, sand to get it flat without removing the flakes, sprayed the candy over it.

    What type of paint are you using in the airbrush? Is it ”car paint” or is it airbrush ”hobby”paint?

      With the airbrush I am using airbrush paint, it can be use with a normal spray gun too. The brand is Createx and this is the Candy2o, water base. They have different series, and frankly this is an awesome brand. You have to be use to it as different color of candy will need different air pressure, some are thicker than other and you will need their additive the 4030 and 4011.
      It is a water base so after spraying be careful with any water, drop dog slubber etc.. until you clear it with a automotive clear coat.

      Hi, thanks for watching! The clear coat in an automotive grade called High Teck 7000 high gloss, maybe not the cheapest, but never had any problem with it!

    in your opinion , is createx candy2o worth it? trynna get into candy paints but the only thing i know personally is house of colors

      I don't have much experience with HOK candy, so I can't really speak for it. What I like about Createx is that it is a water base, cleanup is much easier, if you messed up, in my case one area, it is an easy cleanup, also the lack of chemical make it safer to use in my apartment. I do like Createx bottle system. The downside of water base is you have to protect your work from any source of water or droplet or even a sluberry dog until it is cleared 😉

    Hi..the gold yellow colour you using is transparent colour or you reduce it with reducer until the colour become transparent??..😳😳😳

      Hi Mate, thanks for watching. The paint you are talking about is a kind of paint that is called Candy, this is transparent paint. I only mix the Candy paint with some 4030 per the manufacturer instruction. Check Createx Candy2o.

      @@lesagecustoms4668 yes i know about candy paint but dont know candy paint is same like transparent paint..so we do not need to use the real transparent paint..just use the candy paint we can also do transparent is it?..😳😳😳..because i want to paint the lace pattern background with chrome paint..so after i will cover with the transparent paint the lace pattern effect look like mirror & the colour will look like the top coat paint but have mirror effect

    Je me permets de t’écrire en français car à ton accent je n’ai pas de doute sur ton origine 😜. Super boulot. J’ai peint mon casque de contre la montre à la bombe en faisant quelques masque et je souhaite me lancer dans l’aréographie pour un autre casque. J’ai regardé ta vidéo dans le détail histoire de bien comprendre comment faire. Tu as vraiment bien géré ton casque et ta moto sont magnifiques. Tu m’as inspiré dans la technique.
    Peux tu me dire combien de temps il faut attendre entre chaque couche d’aéro? J’ai l’impression que tu enchaînes très vite entre 2 couches.
    As tu un aéro simple action ? Tu règles la pression sur ton compresseur ?

      Salut, merci. Alors oui la pression je la règle à la sortie du compresseur, les candy que j'utilise sont de Createx Candy2o, c'est a l'eau, ça sèche relativement vite. Par contre il faut bien faire attention, je mix le candy avec un de leur produit qui est un genre clearcoat, genre 10%, ça évite que les couleurs se mélangent. Et puis comme toute peinture fais plusieurs passage pour éviter les "runs". Pour le temps j'essaie toujours de toucher la où il y a du scotch ou papier pour voir si c'est sec. L'aérographe est un modèle de base, acheté sur Amazon pour moins de $30! Fais des essais sur des cartons ou autre, tu verra c'est très addictif, bonne chance 😉

      Oui en effet, j'essaie d'absorber les coulées, dans ce cas rien dessus. Si c'est du over spray sur du clearcoat j'utilise une genre de paint gun cleaner 😉

Je viens également de craquer mon slip sur Amazon avec aéro, compresseur, accessoires, peinture, diluant, cleaner... et j’en passe. Ça me fera l’occasion de faire une nouvelle vidéo 😜.
