- When I started this channel I posted whatever I felt like. When I wanted to make this a career, I treated this like my job instead, while still posting what I wanted to. Now I feel I should go back to posting whatever feels right to me. I don’t care about the views or if it makes me any money, if I lose or gain subscribers. I’m gonna do my best to just stay true to myself on here. I love all you guys ✌️ thank you for supporting me and this channel you guys are awesome

I’m lost on my life journey, I’m stuck mentally, I’m supposed to be in school right now, but I literally can’t move, my depression has gotten extremely worse, I’m 16. Glad you like your job! Nothing worse than having to go somewhere you hate and dread. As you navigate your career path, I see you ending up doing something in the arts.
I love your music man and I love seeing it on the channel, but you don't owe us anything. This is your channel and your space to upload whatever and whenever you want. I completely understand just not knowing where to go because you never thought you would be here at 18. I too went through similar mental health struggles to you, and I'm still going through it to be honest. It's hard loving being alive but struggling to love your life when you don't know how to fill it. Take it easy man and be kind to yourself, we're on a floating rock, being alive is beautiful :)

James, keep in mind that a lot of us only want to see you doing your thing and being happy enough with where you are at. In your late teens and twenties, exploring options and having a variety of experiences is what will help to pave the way to your future happiness and success:)

Sounds like you are "getting it all together" and taking a break is a necessity for that to happen. You are on the right track just living life to the fullest. That's what it's all about. You never get to a point where you have it all figured out. You just have to learn to enjoy the ride as you are getting some things defined. As far as the future of the channel.... ???? Follow your heart, you won’t go wrong. I don't mean you won't make mistakes... you will... but that's ok... you are among friends and we all mess up at times, even with the best intentions. Keep being honest. That's what drew me to you in the first place. Even the sad kid on the internet videos... you were just being honest. Don't be too hard on YOU!!! Whether it is music that you share or just a chat... be honest... tell it like it is-but with the hope that we can improve and then it can be better. Remember- what you do is just an expression of who you are. Who you are is the person all of us are hoping to connect to... we love you, man... not what you do... we love the real you and content is just a means to communicate. It's really easy to burn yourself out on things your passionate about. Despite what all the algorithms tell you about engagement sometimes you do need to slow down or take a break - your health is more important.
Also, one of the best kept secrets about life is that most people dont know what they want to do with their life until much later than society tries to push you into making all those important decisions.
College isn't for everyone - Its good you found a Job you like Definitely Enjoy the Update
What do you do? The answer to that question is.... whatever you want. Glad you like your job. Small places w 3 or 4 employees working at a time is awesome. For the channel > I love piano vlogs / guitar when you're more comfortable. Skate vlog would be cool too. Glad you are happy living w Essie & her fam, obviously they like you. No junior jwools til you get your career figured out > be safe! I think career choices will become apparent soon. You're already a YT Creator, pro skater if you got the skills, start or join a band / music group.

You have the framework of a future in front of you - a job you actually enjoy and with promotion prospects so you could make it long term if you choose, you have a partner you compatible with and you love and and it seems she feels the same in return. You are starting to exercise in routine which is all a good start.
Maybe write down some points to discuss before you post on YT.
I agree it’s hard to come up with stuff to post but the fact is you have to work at it. Don’t get stuck in a rut because it’s safe and comfortable. Another possibility is doing a course at a community college - not like an academic thing but a practical skill?

Do what you love and enjoy. Dropping out of college is not the end of the world. Do the things you love, then follow your heart. Working any job is positive. Baby steps, as long as you're moving forward, even small steps in the right direction, are a great thing. Don't be so hard on yourself and stay clear away from drugs and you will be fine!

Hey J, I’m 24, but I have to say I really liked the video where you were in an open landscape talking about how it’s not shameful to cry. I personally think it makes us stronger than others. I enjoy the videos that are like a diary entry,like perhaps you experienced a number of things in your life and were ready to give your collection of views/thoughts on them. I think every experience has some value/truth in it worth sharing to the world because you’re brave enough to. Maybe I’ll share mine someday too.
You have a whole life in front of you. Rome was not built in a day and you cannot rush into things until you have found a your purpose. But the one big request is to posting here so that you can keep in touch with us. Also take us on a journey around your neighbourhood and show us real America.

Congrats,on the job James, even though it was always hard to get on your livestreams lol, I miss them, but you know I was thinking the idea of you working the food job and then going and doing the streams or content when you feel like it might be best because you don't want to feel forced, you want it to feel fresh every time you get in front of the mic and camera, that's natural. I do want to get the chance to work with you whether it be music or on TH-cam, I live in Chicago area and I'm alot older than you, and to be honest my health isn't the best, I could be dead by end of year or next year, hopefully not for a good while, and no I'm not talking about suicide lol. I still have plans to start my TH-cam journey this year either in May or November at the latest, like you I dropped out of college long time ago and really that's not really the problem, but I have to find a job next month just to survive, which means I'll be working part time to begin with and doing TH-cam part time,then come November working full-time and doing TH-cam part time, but you gotta do what you gotta do to survive, life tests us sometimes, but we're up to the challenge my friend. I hope Esther is doing good, you said before Esther has a channel, you should tell us so we can subscribe and support her as well.🙂

Don't stress about keeping up on TH-cam. Concentrate on work, and stability in your life, fill in the TH-cam as you feel up to it, and as you feel the need to post updates. It'll take time to really settle into the world of being an adult, it don't happen overnight, you are still young, you have plenty of time to sort out what you want to do with your life, what career path you want to take, etc. What works for one person might not be the thing for you so don't stress about it.
It sounds like you are doing ok with your current job, stick with it for a while, future employers like to see long term job status not a bunch of job hopping, however, if you find that things don't work out where you are now, DO NOT stay, move on....continuing to work in a place that you don't like, doesn't work for you, or you have employees, bosses, management that just aren't getting along move on, don't look at it as a failure on your part, keep moving until you find what works for you.
We love you just the same no matter what job you have, what you drive, or where you live, remember that. Concentrate on what works for you not what others think you should do, that's what'll get you into trouble is trying to do what everyone else wants you to do instead of what you want to do and what feels right for you.
I'm 42, I still have no clue about life in general, never got married, never had kids....trust me it still isn't easy, especially when you have a felony in your past, it makes it that much harder.
You have a clean slate, give it your all, and have some sort of plan for your next move if you can....
Most people here are supporting you, but I'm going to tell you not to waste your time. You have aspirations and fiddling around won't help you. You will not regret getting a degree, even if you don't pursue that later. Most people don't work in the field they studied, but it puts you on the path of self-development and knowledge.
I agree with this . Don’t waste time in something you aren’t really in to unless you Have to do it like the job you currently hold .

Hey I just found your channel today. I found the video of when you skipped school and your mom found out you were suicidal. I decided to check out your channel. I wanted to tell you how important your videos are. I hear you aren't sure where to go from here. First and foremost, you need to do what is best for you. That being said , I think you sharing your up ls and downs has not only been helpful to others but I think it might be helpful for you too. Please give some time before completely changing everything up. Depression is tricky and you want to make sure it's not trying to trick you now. God bless

TSA agents can soar through the “ladder” system with a future pension. If you start a federal job by 20…in 30 years you’ll be proud of what you achieved when retirement and healthcare coverage is handled!
