You dropped out of college to be “happier”? Not a good decision. Did you ever play high school football? Or at least watch football practice? Have you ever seen a football team running sprints in the August heat? Running sprints again and again and again? It’s MISERABLE. But it’s also NECESSARY if the team is going to be successful - and happiness comes with success. True, not everyone needs college to be successful, but if you had the opportunity to attend college and chose to leave because you weren’t happy, you’ve made an awful decision - although it’s a reversible decision since you’re 18. Go back to school, study something that has immediate value (such as business or marketing) and gut it out like football players grinding through August sprints. Get equipped for success at school.

For me, the worst part of a cold shower is the first thirty seconds. I get used to it where I just adjust to its reality, even if I’m not *happy*. I did it for about eight months and then stopped.

There’s a lot of people who are not happy career wise. Like me, I’m 43 and not happy career wise, I only stay cause can’t find anything else that pays me as much as this current job. My second job is more of a hobby than anything else. Yes the pay there is excellent but I’m in time I know I’m going transition to my hobby as a career I really like and get paid

I think you've self-identified this just be careful with being in constant search for a high rather than just be generally "happy". Two different things. One is where you just go after the new stimulation all the time and the other just to be happy where you're at.
