It’s so good see all these yank tanks doing our Aussie tracks after sooo many years of hearing people say they don’t fit, there to big! Good to see different content rather than just landcruisers!👍
As an American, this makes me happy! I don't know what I like more, the content, or the narration! That Aussie accent makes any narration better. Great video!
The Silverado seems to be eating it up at every challenge. I think it's handling it the best of the big rigs. I was thinking what about the crocs then you just mentioned it.
So good to see these American trucks doing the Aussie tracks. This episode was 🔥 was Awsome to watch. That RV looks epic too how good would look sitting in my drive way behind me 4w4 haha
I'm an American and I just gotta say, seeing those huge rigs go down your trails was epic. We don't even hardly do this kind of thing in the states. Its mostly all Jeeps and Toyotas. Makes me want to buy a Ram 2500 and bolt some huge tires on it (and many other things) and go wheel.
when you spend 350k on a yank tank you would wanna hope its ok lol not hating on them at all but for the same cost wow you could have a hell of a better setup with another car
@@danielpetersen753 Maybe some of these people need to watch some Leyland Brothers footage. Mike and Mal did Cape York in the early seventies with Landrovers and without the wank….sorry, yank fest.
With the amount of weight, size and turning circle of the ram with a big boy caravan on the back. The ram is absolutely killing it. Making it look to easy over here Matt haha (alongside with a set of great spotters I will say)
Hello from Texas. It’s great seeing the full size American rigs on the tracks. After years of watching the midsized rigs I have wondered how the Ford, RAM, and Chevy’s hold up. I would like to hear about a durability review as time goes on.
I think the RAM is eating the other ute for breakfast due to it is towing a skye RV a true testament and now I can't wait until I can afford one . can't wait to see what's next
Mate you have set a new dream 4wd for me the ram is a beast and as well for showing everyone the American trucks can do it all on the Aussie tracks well done loved it
I dont know what the Aussie equivalent is, but in the States, we have the US Geological Survey. We monitor river flow levels and water quality. We have similar monitoring locations that house equipment. That tower looks like an abandoned cableway. It would be standing with another one on the far river bank. There would be a cable running across with a cablecar/trolley that you would use to get across the river to be able to measure either the flow or collect water samples.
Back when I bought my 2018 Z71 Colorado... I thought it was HUGE. These monsters just dwarf my little toy :D I love the look of the Super Duty "Boeing" though
As an owner of a 2500 ZR2 I cant get over how you wheel such expensive rigs. Affording it is hard enough. But all the possible damage then as well, wow. I need a sponsor apparently lol. Cool vid!
Got back last week from doing the same trip! LOVED every minute of it! We actually took the same side take near Dallhunty that you did but turned back as we ended up following some other group and figured they would take the camping before we got there…should’ve kept going. 🤦🏻♂️🤣
We went all they way down there on a recommendation, arrived to find campers galore with next to zero access to water, so aside from the thoughts expressed, it is well known and patronised, hence we tracked back out and had a cracker of a camp at the actual crossing. Don't feel too let down, main camp site on Dalhunty is good also.
Great episode as always surprised from what I could see the cruiser and the explore truck where the only ones with snorkels guess those American trucks r allot taller though. Looking forward to the rest of the trip.
It’s great your doing this as I wanted to know if the American trucks fit as I own a 2500 Chevy in red hot, The Chevy is doing the track the easiest lol👍🤟🤙
I've got a red hot on order, so really enjoying being able to point my LC mates to this reality check 🙂 Figured I'm going to cop some shit so might as well go full emergency vehicle red 🙂
Chevy doing very well for a relatively standard setup. Just shows you don’t need to go doing coil conversions/portals on a 79 Chevy/ram/ford come built for it 🤌🏼
I reckon you've got the best 4x4 channel on TH-cam brother Matt. I think that the good ol' Cruiser is doin the business brother. The Chev is the most surprising even more so then that monster Ford. Your towing a trailer so you're setting the standard. Great videos brother 🤙🏾
The Ford has the best flex with solid axles and Liquid Coil suspension. The Silverado looks like it's IFS, so probably rides the best on road. What's the fuel economy numbers for each of the rigs? The 79 is a much older, but smaller V8. The American trucks have more gears and tech.
Land Cruiser definitely performs the best out on the track just because they are more suited for Aussie tracks less wide and ya can’t go wrong with a cruiser
3700kms from my place , I'm heading up tomorrow for sure and I will only need about 800 ltrs of feul which is around $1500 - $2000 ? food , water , a couple beers and wines and 3 week's off work 🙄 Ah one day!
That F450 has gotta be the coolest truck I've ever seen on the Tele Track!
It’s so good see all these yank tanks doing our Aussie tracks after sooo many years of hearing people say they don’t fit, there to big! Good to see different content rather than just landcruisers!👍
My thoughts exactly. Good to see people branch out and try something other Toyotas and Nissan.
Cheers legend I wanted to know for my self if they could keep up 😂 All talk everyone saying they suck and they have never even been in one 😂
Really enjoying this series, honestly think the RAM is the standout so far, makes the tracks look easy while towing the SKY!!!
The miracle of editing👍
Those yank tanks definitely keep their wheels on the ground compared to the cruiser hey! The F450 walked up that hill 👍
As an American, this makes me happy! I don't know what I like more, the content, or the narration! That Aussie accent makes any narration better. Great video!
A South African accent in there too, can't miss it!
Really enjoying this series, honestly think the RAM is my standout so far, makes the tracks look really easy while towing the SKY RV!!!
I have to say that Chev looks great. Doesn’t look as over the top as the 450 and I love that white on black.
I do like the big American trucks making inroads to the Australian 4wd scene. That 450 is a monster. Steve 🇦🇺
Where are all the people from over the years saying yank tanks don't fit now? 😂 awesome stuff guys. The more yank tanks the better!
That 450 is a weapon.
Definitely crocs in the Dalhunty.
Love to see the american truck doing aussie tracks and the boieng f450 is definitely doing it the best
I reckon the 79 is doing it the easiest, love the BiG Ford though ✌️👍🤙🖖👏👏👏✊👍😃
The Silverado seems to be eating it up at every challenge. I think it's handling it the best of the big rigs.
I was thinking what about the crocs then you just mentioned it.
Hey from Maine, US 👋🏼😎
It’s currently 5:30am and I should be getting up..but..an extra 30 minutes won’t hurt, right?!
Excited to watch!
Good morning!
79 for sure 👍 helps having a dozen guys to get the big rigs through - I suspect the off camera action is full on 😉🤔😂
So good to see these American trucks doing the Aussie tracks. This episode was 🔥 was Awsome to watch. That RV looks epic too how good would look sitting in my drive way behind me 4w4 haha

Deano’s landcruiser lifting wheels and marking his territory for sure lmao
I reckon the big F450 is handling it the best so far. Such a big truck could be quite the hand full on some of those narrow bits.
Awesome to see ! The only people who knock an American truck and the ones who don’t have one, once you have one there is no going back.
when you spend 350k on a yank tank you would wanna hope its ok lol not hating on them at all but for the same cost wow you could have a hell of a better setup with another car
@@danielpetersen753 Maybe some of these people need to watch some Leyland Brothers footage. Mike and Mal did Cape York in the early seventies with Landrovers and without the wank….sorry, yank fest.
I would like to see the Ram’s capabilities without a trailer. I really like this series bc I was curious how the big rigs would fit on these trails.
Epic video mate! can't wait to see the upcoming Cape York episodes, the Ram is handling the track with the trailer like a boss 🤟
With the amount of weight, size and turning circle of the ram with a big boy caravan on the back. The ram is absolutely killing it. Making it look to easy over here Matt haha (alongside with a set of great spotters I will say)
They r all doing well
They r all great for different reasons
The Ram is my pick.
It’s managing everything very well, even when towing.
👍
Hello from Texas. It’s great seeing the full size American rigs on the tracks. After years of watching the midsized rigs I have wondered how the Ford, RAM, and Chevy’s hold up. I would like to hear about a durability review as time goes on.
Loving it.....Again the F450 is just killing it......
The Chevy is killing it
I think the RAM is eating the other ute for breakfast due to it is towing a skye RV a true testament and now I can't wait until I can afford one . can't wait to see what's next
Mate you have set a new dream 4wd for me the ram is a beast and as well for showing everyone the American trucks can do it all on the Aussie tracks well done loved it
It was army flying fox for flood to get stuff across
Go the Chevy, not a huge fan of a yank tank but that thing is pure gold. 😅😁
Surprised the ram is doing so well, I guess the add ons help
The big super duty… what a tank 🤯

I love the look of the Super Duty "Boeing" though
The RAM has to be the one handling it the best, and its towing a van as well!
Good times Offroad. Love to see the big FORD power on. On my bucket list for sure, to get my 2012 Raptor ripping up and down the Australian outback
I would have to see you ram is doing the best, as your towing as well and it’s eating it up. Great ep
As an owner of a 2500 ZR2 I cant get over how you wheel such expensive rigs. Affording it is hard enough. But all the possible damage then as well, wow. I need a sponsor apparently lol. Cool vid!

Next time mate! Heaps of camps down there
We went all they way down there on a recommendation, arrived to find campers galore with next to zero access to water, so aside from the thoughts expressed, it is well known and patronised, hence we tracked back out and had a cracker of a camp at the actual crossing.
Don't feel too let down, main camp site on Dalhunty is good also.
Nice one guys.......
For me, I have to vote Cruiser all the way.
Thanks for the share 🤙👍
Got to love that Super Duty
Have to agree the RAM towing eats up the competition 🤩
The landcruise is the best
Old mate in the 450 is killing it 👍🏽🤙🏽
Ram has the hardest job of them all, looks the best and the straight 6 is a monster. 6 IN A ROW, THAT TRUCK WILL TOW!
Watching from Kentucky. PS the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the truck. LOL 😆 🤣
Great episode as always surprised from what I could see the cruiser and the explore truck where the only ones with snorkels guess those American trucks r allot taller though. Looking forward to the rest of the trip.
Cooking up a good feed while camping makes it taste better i swear.
Love seeing the ram killing it. Think it is doing the best :)
the RAM - great trip thank you
Great to see the American trucks taking on Cape York, the Chevy is doing it the best 👍
The Chevy is the best!!
Deano is really good spotting on the radio
It’s great your doing this as I wanted to know if the American trucks fit as I own a 2500 Chevy in red hot,
The Chevy is doing the track the easiest lol👍🤟🤙
I've got a red hot on order, so really enjoying being able to point my LC mates to this reality check 🙂 Figured I'm going to cop some shit so might as well go full emergency vehicle red 🙂
@@barrythompson8813 mines been called a fire truck lol.
Big crocs in the Dalhunty
Chevy doing very well for a relatively standard setup. Just shows you don’t need to go doing coil conversions/portals on a 79 Chevy/ram/ford come built for it 🤌🏼
Last week the 79 had my pick...but the Ford is growing on me!
Love this trip
79 all the way baby wooohooooo
i reckon the chev has it in the bag
deanos 79 handling the best
That Silverado is a beast
Top effort considering you're towing a van! Braver man than me!
Cheers mate!
Landcruiser doing it easy Chevy doing good. But the Ram with the van on back is insane but showing it can be done
The bush company Toyota! 🙌🏼
The ram with van down Palm creek surprised me despite the van being pulled sideways a bit she made it no dramas, go the big rigs !
@GabeRonalds why what ?
@GabeRonalds it’s called adventure mate, people thrive on it and why not, F the 9-5 crap, do what you gotta do to see this country
@GabeRonalds I don’t think it’s ridiculous but that’s my opinion 🤷🏻♂️
The Ford has the best flex with solid axles and Liquid Coil suspension. The Silverado looks like it's IFS, so probably rides the best on road. What's the fuel economy numbers for each of the rigs? The 79 is a much older, but smaller V8. The American trucks have more gears and tech.
Ram for the win! Carrying a load AND towing a trailer.
Need to disconnect the swaybar on the Ram and add a front locker.
The 2500 ram looks to be eating up the tracks and towing the van with the big Cummins
The F250 handled it effortlessly but the 79 was lifting wheels and climbed right out!
Land Cruiser definitely performs the best out on the track just because they are more suited for Aussie tracks less wide and ya can’t go wrong with a cruiser
Be good if they took them down to the Vic High Country. Widen a few tracks up.
My favorite is the BigFord50!
26:28 That's it mate start em young
Big Cummins ram can't beat that 🔥
what do you need a caravan for in a vehicle that size?
Love the 79
Yeeehaww good ep Matty
Go the RAM baby!
Ram is loving it
Bloody Awesome bit of content..Yeeeuw!!🎉
"Deano made it look easy"
My continued thought was, "Baker makes everything look hard"
Did you exclude an 80 Series, so as not to show up the Yanks?
The ram all the way cummins power baby 🤙
Ive got an 89 suburban on 35s id love to get to take through this stuff. Unfortunately it'll never happen
cletus would send it alright🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cruiser country all ways will be
There are crocs in the Dulhunty River.
What possible reason would you tow a little van over a tilt up roof top,and chuck a 12 foot tinny above that
Silverado seems to be making it look easy
That's livin'!
20:00 that's what he said.
Cale in the F450 what a weapon
Still the Ram kicking @$$ like usual...
3700kms from my place , I'm heading up tomorrow for sure and I will only need about 800 ltrs of feul which is around $1500 - $2000 ? food , water , a couple beers and wines and 3 week's off work 🙄 Ah one day!
The f450 handled it the best
The ram I reckon
How lucky is the youngfella experiencing all this amazing shit!
Türkiye den selamlar
The ram !
you can ask every week but the ram is still going to be the best.
