Did you trade in the Trail Boss? I looked at having my tow hooks powder coated but the the rubber stuff on them is a pain to take off

At 5:28 you show a closeup of the end result. Is the red reflecting off of the black plastic or did you overspray?
No overspray, partner! It is just a reflection. They still look great!

Just wondering how it has held up, and, what part of the country are you in?
I'm in the northeast, and wanted to add tow hooks, possibly in chrome to match the trim, but after seeing that some reviews are mentioning rust issues occurring on the hooks. Even on the ones in black.
Thanks, partner! The hooks have held up perfect, no rust or paint chips or anything. I live in Florida so they don’t get snow or salted roads. Good luck on your project - chrome would really stand out!
@@MRGREGSHOWTO you're welcome. I would say, depending how close you are to the ocean, salt would increase the risk of rust. But, if you are close, and no rust, not bad!
I may have to opt for black, or, see if the powder coat guy in my town can do something close to chrome colored.
I wonder if DupliColor makes a chrome color in that paint you used??!!
