Nice. You guys have made me get a cheap Rav4 (I can't afford a FJ or Land cruiser) can't go wrong with Toyota. Your right first aid kit, fire extinguisher and window break glass/seat belt cutter within reach is a must on any car.
Welcome to the club man!!! That is so freaking cool, the Rav4 is such an awesome vehicle. I've seen a couple awesome builds that have made me fall for them. They are crazy capable! What year did you go for?
@@Automobros it's a 2005 2.0 5 speed. In the UK we got a special edition called Granite which came with awesome TTE wheels. Love the comforty ride and it sits nicely with my 350z
love the energy! I have a FJ as well, love it soo much. Just a suggestion; if you paste the links for the products to your Video description, you can make money with affiliate marketing when people use your link to buy them. Win-Win. Thanks for the video
Thank you so so much man, we really appreciate the kind words! 🙏🙏 And thank you for the suggestion, that is a fantastic idea! I created an affiliate account and added those links to the description 😁😁
Thanks man! The exterior panels are from a company called BuiltRight Industries. I ordered them directly from them, the service and shipping speed was fantastic. Highly recommend if you go that direction!
Thank you man, I actually made those myself! I can send you a parts list if you're still interested? I was also thinking about putting together a how to video on building them if the FJ guys wanted racks in that location that didn't have to be permanently drilled into the side of the truck
Yeah the CBs are SUPER old school nowadays! We've used handheld GMRS a few times when we go out with another guy in our group who is converted, they truly are a night and day difference. I just want to find an affordable mounted solution!
It's definitely a weak link on a longer journey! If you're doing more than a weekend, fuel should probably be a consideration. We're happy to hear you're coming from our other video too, thanks for watching!

So glad to see you didn't waste your money on Icons❤ ... but you need to dump that CB, everyone is running GMRS now

Who was that trying to hide behind that tree!!
🤫
I watched your other video, with an FJ you have to carry extra fuel.
