    I have a question: thirty minutes ago I inserted my pin, but it freezed, so I turned it off and tried to turn it on, but it doesn't anymore. I tried to put it on charge and the light that tells you that it's charging turned on, but it didn't turn off when I unplugged the charger. What do I do?

  • @Universal-Dilettant
    @Universal-Dilettant 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    There was NO STICKER to pull underneath the original battery (bought my phone in the middle of 2016)!
    Therefore, it becomes more difficult to remove the original battery (not as shown here).
    NFC-antenna: The foil can be removed by warming up a little bit. Be carefull with the connectorpart.
    Reglue it at the new battery with some sort of doublesided adhesive tape (must be thin).

    Hi, I replaced the battery as shown in the video, and it all powered up fine. My issue is that it does not appear to be charging. The charge light is not coming on, but when plugged in to my computer it recognises it as a drive. Any ideas what I might have done wrong?

    • @EricWitrigs
      @EricWitrigs  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Firstly, power off your phone when charging, click the power button and check whether the screen shows battery charging. If not, please look at 2:41. The battery has only one connector. Make sure it well connects with the motherboard. If this does not work, then maybe you got a broken battery.

    Hi! I tried to change the battery, but the original battery has another small circuit connected directly to the power button (in the part where the new battery has an empty black space). I would like to know if I need to take out that part from the original battery and try with glue to put it over the new one, or if it's not necessary for the phone to work. Thank you in advance for your answer.

    • @EricWitrigs
      @EricWitrigs  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did you get the battery with the same flex cable as is shown in the video? The battery of P8 and the battery of P8 lite have the different flex cables. Please have a look at this www.witrigs.com/oem-battery-for-huawei-ascend-p8-lite

    • @EricWitrigs
      @EricWitrigs  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do not take out any part from the battery. The battery will be broken then.

      I have a Huawei P8 lite. But I have the same battery as you can see in this other video: bit.ly/2bCqfGW
      You can see that in the black part there is another circuit connected directly to the "OEM Power Button Flex Shield"
      I bought your battery, but that battery doesn't have that black circuit in it. What should I do?

    • @sigma5rr
      @sigma5rr 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      i had the same problem as you... a little flat circuit connected to the power button is missing.. what i've done is remove the original sticker from the original battery and then place it exactly in the new one..

      The reason is because the water damage other inners parts. In the moment that happened, the phone had to dry with heat. On the contrary the phone will not turn on . But your phone lit 2 months later because all the water dryed but obviously the phone doesn't work the same like before.

    What to do when you're having a hard time removing the battery and when you see some sparks coming of it when trying to get it out?

    • @GRBtutorials
      @GRBtutorials 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I hope this comment is a joke because if you're seeing sparks, that means you've short-circuited the battery and it's most likely gonna explode in a few minutes (I hope you discharged the battery beforehand). And I'm most likely too late already, so I hope you're still alive and well!

    Hi, my p8 lite is fallen in the street and a car passed over it. I changed the whole piece which includes display and frame thus transferring all the components, the phone is ok ... but I noticed that the battery protrudes, preventing me to put the back cover. What did I do wrong? I'm sorry for my english..
    thank you!

    • @EricWitrigs

      You should check whether the battery sticker you applied on the middle frame is too thick, whether the middle frame and battery is deformed and whether the motherboard is set in place well. Hoping these suggestions help.

    I was yust taking aparat my broken p8 lite and trying to find out whats wrong with it. I wanted to remuwe the batery Just for fun and because I had problems with taking out the mather board, and guess what, I made 2 holes in the batery witch was working perfectly fine.
    15€ trown in the trash, good job me!
    Im so angry at me, But at least I learned something New ( im yust starting at Electronic fixing). Newer take a batery out with metal sharp obyect (scrue driver) . Rather use plastic, wide obyect.
    I hope I prevented somebody doing the same mistacke as me.

    • @GRBtutorials
      @GRBtutorials 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, and a friend of mine with this model (whose phone's battery I replaced) also had problems with Wi-Fi and had to send it to repair. The battery repair was quite difficult, especially the battery removing part. I accidentally broke that sticker so it was much more difficult. Luckily, I didn't short the battery, but it had some superficial damage and I placed it on my LiPo fireproof bag (must have if you're doing this) just in case. On the other hand, replacing my old Moto E's battery, even though it was tedious, it wasn't very difficult, just unscrewing some screws, pulling the battery up with my fingers, put the new one in and screwing said screws again.
