Great video, really helpful. Some people on internet say use 3m tape to hold battery in place, 3m tape is too thick and stops back cover going on flush.

From 2:34 to 2:50 why were you slowly easing in and sliding the plastic to release battery. I mean old battery is going to be thrown away so why not lever it out using flat screw driver. It doesn't matter if it gets damaged

Pay attention when you insert the plastic film below the battery: I broke one of the track of the flat cable that connect the two main boards :(.
Fortunately, everythingh seems to work correctly:
I also recommend to warm (not to much) the front/back of the smartphone with a hair dryer for 3 minutes

I despise Huawei products, very weak quality and this battery changing thing is ridiculous. To change a battery in the older days was easy, now you have to go through all this crap to change it. Utter shite technology that you all rant and rave on about. Its a shite product Huawei and I will never buy another one of their products for as long as I live.

All mobiles are like that now, batteries have a limited lifetime so they make it difficult for the average person to force them to buy a new one.
