Huawei P8 (GRA-L09) Battery Replacement

This video will show you how to replace the battery for your Huawei P8.
The approach should be similar for most Huawei phones such as P8, P9 (lite and normal one).
Tools needed:
Torx T2
screwdriver
a credit card or similar
some patience if you have never pulled the battery glue out
a suction tool
a new battery
Suggestion: if the white tape (strip) breaks while you're pulling it out, don't panic. use a credit card to slowly pull the battery up. DON'T absolutely bend the battery or pierce it! those Li-Ion batteries are extremely explosive! look them up if you don't believe me.

Factory's original battery is Li-Po but you seem to remove a Li-Ion and then again put a new Li-Ion. This means that it's the second time you change battery???

I've mounted another one bought from ebay but it is so bad and my phone shut down from 80%...

Hello! Unfortunately i would't know what to suggest, what I did was go on amazon and find a seller that looked legit. Try not to find the cheapest battery out there, they're usually busted batteries

On mobile id not runnig eithetr... You miss out most important part, battery holding on very strong tapes, to remove battery you must hit up battery first in gently way. Please don't do by yourself with no experience, is dengereus make cause fire! This film is not worth watching or watched if you want to loose your phone.

Ilse van het Erve hi this doesn't sound like a battery issue however to rule that our try keeping it plugged for a while otherwise try going for recovery

Avrei bisogno di un consiglio da parte di esperti: ho sostituito due volte la batteria del P8 Ascend GRA-l09 con ricambi originali e di recente produzione ) codice prodotto originale HB3447A9EB​W tuttavia entrambe le volte la batteria dura poco e dopo meno di una giornata (utilizzo non molto intensivo, no giochi o chiamate tutto il giorno)... Il telefono scalda molto e si scarica. Potrebbe essere quindi un problema di software? opppure di finte batterie originali? e come mai scalda così tanto? Please help. Mi dispiace perchè a parte questo il telefono funziona e mi dispiacerebbe buttarlo. Grazie a tutti quello che mi risponderanno..! P.S. accetto anche suggerimenti su siti dove acquistare in sicurezza batterie di ricambio di qualità. Ri-grazie!

Ciao, da come hai descritto il problema immagino siano 2 le possibilità:
1) la batteria non è originale e non puoi farci niente se non provarne un'altra
2) l'OS non va come dovrebbe, formatta il telefono e dagli una settimana di utilizzo per assestarsi.

@@SwissExperiments avendo provato due batterie di due fornitori diversi ebay e sembrando emtrambi originali credo sia il caso due e ci provo... ! In caso hai un sito da suggerirmi per avere garanzie di prodotti originali? Come faccio a sapere con certezZa se la batteria è originale? Grazie

@@bellastoria84 purtroppo non ti saprei aiutare con il sito, ma ti consiglio appunto di provare col punto 2. E poi valutare. Se ordini ancora altre batterie cerca di farlo all'interno dell'EU e non dalla Cina, hai migliori chances
