    12:20 how does P. N. S cause vasodilatation.
    Cholinergic receptors M1, 3,5 act via Gq type which cause smooth muscle contraction
    M2, 4 act via Gi which leads to decrease in cAMP
    And u have said in ur video cAMP cause vasodilatation
    But how can pns really cause vasodilatation

    in 14:08 you mention that PANS effect on lungs are Bronchoconstriction and increase bronchial secretion... then you lost me when you said " how you increase secretion? by vasodilation " where dose the vasodilation occurs ?

    • @MedicosisPerfectionalis
      @MedicosisPerfectionalis  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Acetylcholine is a vasodilator (not bronchodilator). Any cell that secretes something (e.g. bronchial glands) needs to have access to a blood vessel to get the raw materials necessary to produce the secretions. Acetyl choline dilates those vessels, and therefore brings more blood to secretory glands. That’s why Acetylcholine is referes to as “secreto-motor.”
