12:20 how does P. N. S cause vasodilatation.
Cholinergic receptors M1, 3,5 act via Gq type which cause smooth muscle contraction
M2, 4 act via Gi which leads to decrease in cAMP
And u have said in ur video cAMP cause vasodilatation
But how can pns really cause vasodilatation
you deserve way more subscribers imo :(
Thank u so much doctor,
I was looking for it ...😘
My pleasure 😇
in 14:08 you mention that PANS effect on lungs are Bronchoconstriction and increase bronchial secretion... then you lost me when you said " how you increase secretion? by vasodilation " where dose the vasodilation occurs ?
Acetylcholine is a vasodilator (not bronchodilator). Any cell that secretes something (e.g. bronchial glands) needs to have access to a blood vessel to get the raw materials necessary to produce the secretions. Acetyl choline dilates those vessels, and therefore brings more blood to secretory glands. That’s why Acetylcholine is referes to as “secreto-motor.”

Thnku doctor
Excellent video but why are somatic nerve fibres listed as central fibres - I thought they were part of the peripheral nervous system?
That’s not what central means in this context. Good point!
Thanks
My pleasure 😇
Flat lens for far vision;
Circular lens for close vision.
Strange method of teaching, but I love it . only you need to slow down and to arrange the talk, sometimes it's like jumping here and there
Thanks for your honest feedback!
skillissue
in which grade is this type of biology taught
Are you the smartest person in the world?
I am not ☺️
Yeah, definitely a big if 12:56
I thought the parasympathetic nervous system dont make use of white rami and grey rami. I'm lost as to why its associated with it
isnt it vagus because vaga means wonderer and its wondering everywhere
Yup 👍
DUMBBELSS: E is embolism?
E stands for Emesis!
Why only 3,7,9,10 cranial nerve are parasympathetic why not other cranial nerve are???
Crocodile tears😂
Haha 😂
