Errata: @4:27 I meant to write/say SALIVATION in the SUBMANDIBULAR GLAND for the Superior Salivary Nucleus. CN7 does also supply parasympathetic input to the Lacrimal gland as well.
Dirty Medicine please cover LIPID LOWERING DRUGS next.
@UC_BXx1XwqsEI1fHXFTGFOfw can you please explain the mistake to me
OK, it's a stretch for Mnemonic Muscarinic agonists, but METHacholine affects Bronc/Lungs, so smokin' METHacholine gets you in the right system. And this is even worse.......CARBachol ....Carbs and you have to butcher Glaucoma to GLUCOma like glucose. Truly horrible, but I'll remember 'em. Thanks for the vid.
Plz cover opiods ans analgesic
Sorry you mentioned you had the sympathetic video of this see graft one. However, I could not find it
Pmeumonic for M3 locations
“AEIOU”
A: Airway
E: Exocrine
I : “Eye” and “I” sound the same when you say it
O: the letter is circular so think of the GI tract as a hollow circular tube
U: Urinary Tract
Can we really remember all the mnemonics we create? :(
I like that one!
@@komaddog lol worth a try
that's a great one
thank you @Husnain Ahmed

Absolutely love this teaching approach - quiet, structured and intelligent: no screaming, drinking or eating, repeating 100 times. Thank you so much for the classical approach to the lectures! 🙏❤️🌷
This is the best summary explanation of parasympathetic function and pharmacology out there. I would have given so much for a lecture this clear during my preclinical years. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
He is doing a great job
Carbachol for Glaucoma: "I have a glock (GLAUC-oma) in the back (BACH) of my (mi-osis) car."
Methacholine for Bronchial asthma test: "i got asthma from smoking meth".
Edrophonium for Diagnoses of Myasthenia Gravis: "The ED (emergency dept) PHONes me to tell me about my diagnosis of MG".
love these!! you could prob add ""I have a glock (GLAUC-oma) in the back (BACH) of MI OL[d] SIS' (mi-osis) car." hehe
GlycoDRYRATE
Glyco: Represents glycopyrrolate.
DRY: Represents its ability to reduce excessive salivation (sialorrhea).
Rate: Emphasizes the therapeutic effect on heart rate control.

BLESS YOUR SOUL. THIS is what I've prayed for and needed, especially with STEP around the corner.
How did it go?
I really want to donate, I promise I will, but you it will have to wait until I’m done because medical school is expensive but I will never forget. Someday I will reward you handsomely.

Been looking for Pharmacology videos that uses charts and graphs. Because it helps a lot in my memorization. Thank you for this!
The 3 slice pie logo of Mercedes Benz forms triangles, like the face of a pyramid, a triangle, as in TRIhexphenidyl. Triangles, like pyramidal cells. It's an easy association to view the 'Benz' or 'Tri' with pyramids and pyramidal cells, possibly more so with the well-known car logo.
Good job, this is awesome
DIG Those ABS Over DUMBBELSS - muscarinic antagonists (Dicyclomine, Ipratropium, Glycopyrrolate, Trihexyphenidyl, Atropine, Benztropine, Scopolamine) used for stoping: (diarrhea, urination, bronchospasm, bradycardia, emesis, lacrimation, sweating, salivation)
This is the best . Wonderful and thank you 🙏

He has a video where he shows the BP/ HR tracings for Epi, Norepi, and Isoproterenol. That's most likely what's gonna be tested on for strictly sympathetic stuff. The rest can be derived from this vid.
