this stroke is really hard because you can't bring your head up to breathe if the technique is poor. strong pull plus stabilising kick necessary. after years of swimming I can now do a 25m butterfly.
You're unused to do that, like if one left-arm is moving up-down and one right-arm is moving left-right at same time. Like Silvio said, easier if you try kicking and breathing at same time. I promise you can if you still try, remember to focus your legs and arms, breathing as well.
Do not lift your head up you already need to lift your head up while doing bubbles, you bubbles will help you lift your head up but arms first going out of the water
+A N G E L IS AWESOME Hum..? Politely, please ? Rude. She's just wondering why her swim-coach and "Speedo" swim are different. I was wondering the same thing. Be nice and polite, please. Maybe you're on the Internet, but it isn't a reason.
it seems this man does not kick when his arms have stroke. that's wrong. one kick when getting in the water, another kick when stroking. check phelps' olympic game.
be confident my dear friend.... practice till u die... nothing is impossible.... u can do it if u work hard ..... anyone can do anything if they really wish to do it......
I was 120kg when I started to swim. It's not about your weight. Start with breaststroke or front crawl to understand and learn to feel flow of the water. Practice gliding, buy a snorkel to develop correct streamline and after some months you will be able to try dolphin stroke. Good luck!
That is my point. In my opinion good technique plus some core body strength is enough to swim one or two pools, for more you need a lot of stamina. Weight is not that revelant.
These videos are a wonderful tool. They've been a great supplement to my time in the pool. As a result, I've become a fan of Speedo.
It looks so easy but gosh when i try this in the water... : / will keep trying though! :D love these tutorials
I'm a flyer and this helped so much.
amazing swimming technique

The difficulty level and strength required to do this stroke is insane.
Dude you're the best at swimming
Butterfly is probably the coolest swimming technique but I don't see anyone doing it in public swimming lol.
I wonder why... mayabe because they don't want to feel like dying.
i see some people doing it at the more professional pool (50m, no bloody hot tubs or any other fancy extras)
cuz its one of d hardest ones... :P(sore arms.. a caterpillar now)
Sebastian Secrii i love butterfly too... soo graceful... i m gonna practice again tomrw... wish me luck.. :)
Unless you want to look majestic
So cool! One day,I will swim like him.
@Namo Enright LMASTOJESSDFGHKKJSSKSKSK😍
Nice thanks 👍😊
very useful video
very good video and tutorial
nice tutorials and nice channel really )) helps me so much
nice! i like it
the stroke requires a superhuman strength. how the hell did Michael Phelps do that in hundreds of meters...
Ikr
strength helps... but technique matters more ... women under 60kg can swim 100m under 60, its not all brute strength.
realalbertan she's superwoman then
yeah i cant swimm 30 m of butterfly,,
start working out outside of pool and it will be much easier.
because you are NOT beginner. i think it is so stupid to laugh at beginners.....
Wear Speedo's endurance
Awsome!
butterfly í very beautiful
its hard for me to focus both on my legs and my arms idk why! but its annoying
You kick once and kick at the same time while breathing :) try that

its to easy if u have good bady

Nathan Adrian
Thanks
That's not Nathan Adrian
@david, any idea who is he?
I'm doing the 400 I.M. today and my weak stroke is butterfly. Time for to enjoy that 100 Fly.
it seems this man does not kick when his arms have stroke. that's wrong. one kick when getting in the water, another kick when stroking. check phelps' olympic game.
i did
Butterfly is so hard. Whole body need to move.
i hate the dolphin kick -_-
i dont
Oh so I'm supposed to whip my legs down to full extension
Very difficult stroke even though Im very muscular
I Think, his 1st kick is empty. Also their hands under the water have big space. So he cant catch a lot of water. Fault for me..
Barber 'Bertus' Mike the first kick is meant more to aid his legs to come up rather than propel. But does contribute a bit to the propulsion.
Appa
its kinda waving or dolphin method of swimming...not butterfly...
ok...later comes butterfly technique...hmm...so breath when to take the hand out...

:)
They should change its name with whale or something
this video is only for selling speedo products actually and is empty of any useful information
a 110kg fatso like me can't do it in this lifetime?
be confident my dear friend.... practice till u die... nothing is impossible.... u can do it if u work hard ..... anyone can do anything if they really wish to do it......

I am now 103kg and i swim one length of a pool without a problem
its not the weight .. its the stamina ... the more u swim that much the stamina will increase ........
That is my point. In my opinion good technique plus some core body strength is enough to swim one or two pools, for more you need a lot of stamina. Weight is not that revelant.
thank you
