Nice review! Fun fact: same helmet is sold in Australia as the Arai “Profile V”. Looks exactly the same, except it is ECE rated in Australia, instead of Snell. I bought the same helmet yesterday in black and red, with the optional Arai pro shade system.
I've read an article about how Arai helmets are made, the workers at the factory put a lot of effort into making these all by hand. Arai's higher end stuff sure are expensive, but the quality shows. I'm interested in the Regent-X but it is not available in my country as of yet. Thanks for the insightful and informative review!

Arai and Shoei are the best helmet makers. Priced that way too. You get what you pay for too. If you read how both these companies build helmets,there are more hands on everyone of these helmets than any other maker. Solid Japanese makers. SNELL is another level up certification more to increase protection of your brain. Good job Tall. Ride safe and ride often. Life’s short just buy the bike.

Tall good video, like that color looks good. As I said in the live stream (not sure if it was working for you) I might have to start wearing the full face to work, dropping into the 30’s at night here in northwest Ohio.

Cool looking helmet I bought me a full faced harley helmet that raises up from the front from my dispatcher who also rides bought it new wore it one time an gave me a heck of a deal on it an I like it but that one there looks good take care an god bless brother

@@TravelingTall hey brother that is how I bought the bike they were on it 19inch on front an 18inch on back they are called enforer wheels I found them on the internet this bike the guy who owned it before me put the mini ape hangers rynhart tru dual exhaust to many extras it's only had 4,980 miles on it I just hit 9,000 but I love my street glide my 2012 blackline softtail has a 21inch warwick phatom on it they look good as well glad to hear from you brother take care god bless

Heard good things about aria but for the price I prefer ruroc helmets dot and ece certified and they look cooler and have built into the helmet in the bottom of the back
Have you tried the Quantum X yet? We seem to have the same head profile. Go to the store and try it. If you buy, review it here too 😉. I love my Quantum X. I have Shoei RF1200 but I don’t wear it anymore after Arai.
There's an issue with most HD touring bikes, the airflow is pushed around the rider especially the face. Helmet vents don't have the same effect as when the helmet is used on an open bike. Perhaps being tall your head is out of the airflow? .
Expensive helmet $495, I can’t do it bro. You always wear a full shield? I wear both but mostly half, Ive even went down and hit my head on the asphalt and it protected me. Still had a concussion LOL.BUT survived.
A few more details please. I was thinking of getting this helmet next. Can you really feel the air flow thru the vents? My HJC RPHA-10 flows a lot of air. Down here in Texas, good air flow thru the vents is essential in the warmer months. Thank you for your video. I value your opinion.
Hey Carlos, I was surprised at the amount of air I felt through the vents. I was wearing it the other day and it felt great. Its fall here with a high of 76. I haven't ridden in real hot temps yet, but the air flow was better than any helmet that I've owned. Thank you for watching.
I’ve been using the same helmet for going on 6 years now. These past few months I’ve started looking around for a replacement. I’m so use to the one I have I’m not sure I’ll find one I’ll be happy with. Interested to see what you have to say about this one.

May be a great helmet but $549 is just plain ridiculous. No helmet is worth that much money. And that's not even including the extra $50-$100 for the tinted visor. Smh...

I had the ARAI Signet Q that saved life during a crash in socal. The outside barely looked damaged for a hard hit.

I saved up to buy an Arai helmet for 3 years and was stolen from me the first ride out, I guess I’m not supposed to have the best
I picked up an arai last year. Best and worst thing i ever did. Cause now i will not wear anything else

Better than Shoei
