I just bought my Regent X today! I can’t wait to try it out and see what it’s like to have a premium helmet. My first helmet was a cheap Bilt Force helmet
Excellent! If you asking about a communication system, Cardo makes some pretty great units with a lot of choices in price points and features. www.chapmoto.com/brands/cardo-systems/
This helmet comes in such beautiful colors and classic white, yet every review is of the flat black one. Still cool, but wonder why you don't see more of the red and yellow ones. I bought the white one myself.
@@chaparralmotorsports I still have not received it. Ordered on revzilla abnd due to the virus they are having slow service right now. I am currently using a beat up old offbrand helmet I got thrown in with my bike. I ordered the helmet before I got the bike and got the white, but I ended up getting a red bike and am very tempted to exchange it for the red one when it comes. That solid red with bold arai logo is gorgeous. I don't see a lot of solid color helmets either. probably 90% of people in my state don't wear a helmet (the standard moto gear here is a tank top, no helmet and a pair of jordans), but those who do wear a helmet almost always get either solid black or some outrageous graphics. There is something cool to me about a nice solid color.
ONLY $500! In Japan you can buy this helmet for about $200. In fact, you can buy this helmet from a Japanese seller on eBay and they'll ship it to you for less than $100, and you'll still come out $200 ahead. Arai makes great helmets, but I refuse to buy from a brand that so blatantly price-gouges American motorcyclists.
I got the XL Regent X because somehow my head is getting bigger. A year on and it's sinking on my head so it sits on my ears which is annoying. I hope changing that crown piece will fix it since the top is glued in...which is stupid in an $800 helmet. Honestly I'm not that impressed with Arai. Their external flip down shield is a stupid product.
Hello, yeah after time the internals will relax and in many cases fit better or more comfortably, but then in the extreme end it can cause fitment issues, such as you are experiencing. Hopefully the the new internal piece works for you. Best of luck.

For sure a step up from Built. Enjoy! -- Kyle & the Chap Moto Team

Hi Strongocho, not sure why? How do you like your helmet? Thanks for watching.

Great video. How quiet is it?
Thank you. We feel it's rather quiet, but sound can be subjective from rider to rider. Sound can also be effected by many different factors.
Shame that the graphics of the Corsair are not available on the Regent as well :(
Yes... that is a great point.

If you buy from Japan it’s not covered under warranty in US, and it’s not DOT, could get ticket. But yea definitely price gauging us here
@@jimmytheshark86 I have never even heard of a someone getting a non DOT helmet ticket.
Will I be able to mount my Cardo Freecom 2 with its clip? thank you
Hello, you should be able to mount it.
@@chaparralmotorsports thank you
Yes, just bought the flat black one and had the Cardo Bold installed on it and works great. Enjoy.
