THE one speced with a intel arc is a massive upgrade- it apparently beats all integrated graphics- even the AMD 780m- yet the current price for one is $1,100.00 with the 600 nit 2.5k screen; I like to buy the 4 year comprehensive accident protection warranty directly from Dell-- but $400.00 extra dollars is too much for an $1,100.00 laptop. It is only $700.00 for their Alienware $6,000.00 highest end gaming laptop.

I have this device. Mine came with a pen but that might have been a promo that Best Buy ran because I bought on Black Friday. With 16 GB RAM, there isn't much I can't do. It plays most caual STEAM games, it's quiet and the keyboard feel a little the a Mac (which I like). Nice review that I'd agree with.

I wouldn't count on the sound experience when using it in Tablet mode. The keyboard is disabled while in tablet mode so no worries there. Between this and regualr Insp 16 I'd go w regular. I dont use tablet modes on these things.

NVidia is dedicated whereas iris is integrated which means a little compromise in performance (specially with heavy apps or multitasking, all depends what you're gonna use your laptop for). ;) I'd go with dedicated over integrated anytime.

I just got this dell 16 2-in-1 7630. It was an openbox "excellent condition" from Best Buy. I was a little sus but it seems to have all original parts. Has anyone else had issues with the power cord adapter getting extremely hot after less than a half hour of being plugged in? At which point it stops charging at 75%. Once I unplug it, it starts to cool down. I haven't even played any games on it yet. Even though I have a laptop desk with a cooling fan, I'm worried about the power cord itself. This just seems very dangerous

That's a loaded question, similar to what car should I get to go from point A to B? Hundreds of options. I like the Dells and find they have good support. Lenovo is another good option. Avoid HP like the plague. ASUS makes great products but not great support. ACER makes nice products but reliablility is questionable. @@gaahhh1856

Also Dell has warranty options going for 1 to 4 years, now there is a 1 year warranty by law to every product anyway but 4 years warranty costs a stupid 809 CAD$ like 70% of the actual price of the computer in extra!!! WTF DELL? Also they have option to charge 50$ to transfert your data of your older computer to the newer? 50$ to use a USB or something? Also there is a extended battery service. What does it means no idea. 1 year 80$ 2 years 90$. So if you buy all the dell extra protection plus office etc th cost of the laptop hits an insane 2 902,50 CAD $ BEFORE our taxes of roughly 15%. Final price 3100 CAD $. now does this machine is worth this price? Or should you buy a macbook pro 16 at a price very similar? I am not a mac boy I have never owned a mac but the comparaison seems to make te 16 inch macbook pro a better choice. My new Dell inspiron 16 7620 is a very fragile, plastic, bendy, flexy piece of crap. The onboard touchpad mouse is unusable as it goes crazy all the time and makes using the laptop impossible. I use a usb mouse to sidestep that. The keyboard has certain keys that sometimes simply do not work (M, T, B and W). Repeated smashes of the key in question will generally make it start working again. The 2 in 1 design has weak, plastic hinges that will break and the Dell warranty does not cover this. They suggest contacting sales department for a repair quote. DO NOT BUY THIS LAPTOP, -klb
Bad model! Dell refuses to fix the trackpad grounding issue on this model for the last couple of years now. Many owners have complained on various forums. Please do your research before buying and/or avoid altogether.

FHD. I wouldn't worry about OLED burn in. I have yet to encounter a single client with that issue.

My money I'd go with the Dell or the Zenbook. We've been having some questionable reliability issues with Yogas lately.

I have been very pleased with the 4K display from LG. I have a couple of them on my machines.

I am not a mac boy I have never owned a mac but the comparaison seems to make te 16 inch macbook pro a better choice.

My new Dell inspiron 16 7620 is a very fragile, plastic, bendy, flexy piece of crap. The onboard touchpad mouse is unusable as it goes crazy all the time and makes using the laptop impossible. I use a usb mouse to sidestep that. The keyboard has certain keys that sometimes simply do not work (M, T, B and W). Repeated smashes of the key in question will generally make it start working again.
The 2 in 1 design has weak, plastic hinges that will break and the Dell warranty does not cover this. They suggest contacting sales department for a repair quote.

Bad model! Dell refuses to fix the trackpad grounding issue on this model for the last couple of years now. Many owners have complained on various forums. Please do your research before buying and/or avoid altogether.

This laptop is not for professionals (no pro photographer will use this machine). Not even amateurs will use this laptop.
Not sure where you get your opinions from but I think they may be bias. ;)
