In this episode, we coat the chassis in KBS using the 3 step process. This video includes brushing and spray painting the product, as well as how the KBS rust blast adheres to the chassis.

Did u use gloss at 3min 59 sec on the diff . Was it gloss or satin on the chassis rails ??

Hey Mack, how has the kbs held up over all this time? Looking to use it, but seeing lots of mixed reviews.
Where could I get a paint cup with a 10% ratio ?
how's the coating holding up after 2 years ? thinking of doing the same to my 40 series but hearing mixed reports on the chassis having to be sand blasted and super clean metal no rust/previous paint for the product to hold on well and work noticed your chassis looks about the same as mine and has some paint on it like your diffs etc have would love to hear back from you!
Hey mate just a heads up on my project I’ve done the same on mine and followed all the steps and after 1 year of no use and stored inside it’s started to bubble and the rust is coming back through, I’m now thinking of getting all my hard work sandblasted off then epoxy primed and sprayed in 2k black.
@@Critterltd that's a shame In dead which is making me question using the product vs a solid rust converter a good primer and tough expoxy paint or even simply rust guard paint for alot cheaper
Hi was the kbs rust seal gloss black and the black top satin black.
Hey Matt, yes, gloos black rust seal and the top coat is satin/matt
Was that 1 KBS kit + cavity coater can enough to do the job or would you recommend getting more?
Hey mate, id go with 1, you can get a nice coat in the chassis but you can overlay, so depends how much youd like to put in, only $30ish dollar a tin :) thanks for watching!
