Hey TLW.... I want to tell you and anyone else who is interested: I got into, I mean really into, taking care of my lawn and having the best lawn on my block. I started watching your videos and listened to every word. I redone my front yard, approx 7,000 sq ft, right before I found The Lawn whisperer and it turned out so-so. So many weeds grew into it that I had to apply Tenacity to get it under control. Now for the fun part: I decided, after watching these videos and a few others, to kill and restart my side yard. I bought the Sanctuary and milorganite this time and covered my seed with topsoil. It's only been 7 days and I've never seen a germination rate like this......VERY IMPRESSED. THANKS
That poor lilac. She looks naked. I would not have trimmed her during the summer but in the late fall so she would have a better chance to fill in and bloom in the spring.
. Help needed. My lawn guy cut too deep into my boxwood shrubs. Now I have a dead section in the middle of the plant. Is there anything I can do to revive the church plant?
Hello, new to your channel and definitely a subscriber.. It would be awesome if you made dedicated playlist for specific things like fall rehab, winter care, spring bling, etc. That way new and old subscribers can just click on the playlist, and watch what you do. Yes you have a lot of content and making time to do these can be overwheling, but just remember the great Steve Stifler WE DONT QUIT AT HALFTIME, YOU DONT SCORE TILL YOU SCORE!!!!!
Hey I have some midnight and was wondering if I applied it this evening around 8pm and it got watered in tomorrow around 12 noon if that’s too much time for it to be applied to the grass blades before watering it in?
@@jacobwestern I placed the hooks each 1/3 from the posts, and usually get small baskets. This year I went with the big ones and thought about moving the hooks but decided nahhhhhh haha
If you've cut through that many extension cords in one trimming, you don't know how to manage your cord.... I have to admit, that doesn't have the same ring to it as hose does.
Ugh. I hate the manicured look. It belongs at Disney World and French estates. Throw away the shears and use hand pruners for a more natural appearance.
By the way do you know if there's any truth in managing aggressive and out of control overgrowth with some kind of wax from Brazil? Please don't ever stop the stupid 8th grade jokes.
Looking forward to the sequel entitled “washing my deck” 😂
Ooooh yeah!!!
lol - followed by "make your deck bigger - all by yourself"
It’s inevitable
Some say to this day he's still washing his deck.

I love how you involve your kids while you are working in the yard. They are good little helpers.. good dad too !!
Thank you!
Everyone likes a trimmed bush! It’s a win win for everyone!
So clean and satisfying
Congratulations on daughter #3!!🎈🎉 Looking forward to your next vid! 👍
Trimming around the tree always makes it look bigger. Nice bush, bro!
Trimming the Bush makes the tree look bigger
Always!!
In all seriousness, that's a serious cut on that lilac. I hope it stays healthy.
Not worried about it one bit if I’m being honest haha I’d be perfectly fine if it died 😬
@@TheLawnWhisperer I have the exact same sentiment for one of my wife's roses. Lol! As Ivan Drago said,"If he dies, he dies."
Heck they usu come back stronger
Nice bush!
Lol I was thinking he should have used a tarp for the cuttings
an added feature of trimming your bush - it got rid of the bugs... very nice...
Lmao...I was scared to click on the video 🤣. I do like how the Trimmer turns. Very convenient feature. Nice Video. Love your humor.
Haha yes! It’s very nice!
Just moved (back) to Bloomington- can’t wait to follow updates throughout the Summer!
Yes! Welcome back
Good ball shape.
Excellent ball shape!
I go with no bush at my happy home😐
Trimming the bush always makes me itch.
This may be the only serious question I ever ask, but what are the hanging plants on the front porch? I like ‘em!
Tarp, tarp, tarp!!!!!! Yes, cordless trimmers is the only way !!
Yup
Cleaned up nice!
So now my neighbor is watching your content. Can’t wait to discuss trimming our bushes right Derrick? 😆
You could help each other trim them!!!
@@TheLawnWhisperer Um 😐 solo trimming Justin.
Nicely done 👍🏽
Really Nice house, whats the name of these 3 little bush ?
My bush in the front always needs a good trim
Always good to trim the front up
CW and myself use setting # 12 on the tip master 1,100 series.... it’s a strip you can land on whilst the bush gets to bushy 👍
The worst part of trimming my bush is cleaning up... always leaves a mess!
Always a messy job
Hope all is well... it's been 2 weeks 😒
Ha sorry! Had a baby!
@@TheLawnWhisperer Congratulations! Hope Mom and baby are doing well 😊
@@TheLawnWhisperer congratulations on the new baby! Cheers!

I’m not too worried about it honestly👍 this was also filmed about a month or so ago

Looks good
Those round bushes- do you know the name of those things?
Boxwood
@@TheLawnWhisperer thanks, they're a great size

Nope all good!
Do you feed your bushes tho? Mine are starting to yellow at the top!
Also, agreed! Man this guy has got a big bush🤣🤣
Cute, funny, interesting--love your vids.
Thank you Carolyn!
Am I the only one left rocking the fully natural look? Hahaha.
Great splash teaser image too. Always laugh to myself about slappin the bag. Shave your bush and slap yo bag
Love the Stars & Stripes hanging out front. Beautiful!
"trimming my bush" good one! 😂😂
Be careful. Bush cleanup takes a lot bending and sweating, but so nice when she’s clean and tidy. Did I miss the slap?
No slaps 😢
Wait no heart shape bush :) Looks great though
Have to be extra careful on the reach around when trimming your bush. Wouldn’t want to harm the base.
The.. ‘reach around’? 😳
I wasn't paying attention this week while trimming and cut through the electric cord..learn from my mistake.
I'm really liking that Toro 60volt line of tools, it may be time to sell off the Stihl equipment
It’s so nice
First Aussie 😁. Justin, you must be popular at home with your neat bush trimming skills. Very tidy. 😳😬
😬😬
I’ve got two many boys . We’re trying for that girl . Lol
Nothing wrong with a little manscaping 😉
I always tell the crew, "We're going to have visitors tomorrow. Make sure you shave.... Shave your face too".
😂😂
Your hanging baskets being that close together is giving me anxiety.
Good!

Gotta trim them bushes, nobody likes a big bush!
I’m pretty sure the rule still applies.
Never trim more then 1/3 of your bush at a time. 🤣🤘🏼
😂
You have a lot of videos but it’s not very easy to find videos bc you don’t have any playlist .
From the looks of it you need to trim your bush more often Justin. Just don't knick anything 🤣😂🤣😂
Definitely do! Way overgrown over here 😬
@@TheLawnWhisperer 😂😂
U might want to rename this video….😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Tease
So sorry to disappoint!

No nicks. Go slow 👍🏼
... I guess electric trimmers are in the same category as winding up a hose... it's for suckers. Busted x 2! 🤷
#sigh
=^..^= 🇺🇸👩🌾💚
Might get a few new viewers from that title that turn out disappointed! Clickbait 😂😂 🏳️🌈
Cleanup after trimming a big bush is never fun
Don't forget to put FREE in the description that way you can get views 😆
No nicks here!!

I’ve heard of some people doing that but never experienced myself. Seems painful
