Yours is the most complete install I have found. I could not have done it without your video. Thank you. One point I found you may have already addressed. The thread lock you put on the petcock screws. The instructions on my tube says to use on metal only.

Kent, each mod has had a stamp of OMG, but that hasn’t slowed me down. My Goddess Nefertiti is looking good. Editing the Magura hydraulic clutch install vid, as we speak.
@@NicoleEspinosa I bought the Procycle kit. The only hard part was putting the carb back in. Follow the instructions for the assembly of course. They still give you a drill bit but it isn't for the diaphragm, its for a brass plug for the idle jet. Super easy and straight forward. The bike runs so much more smooth. Slight power increase. Went with the 150 jet because I'm running the DG RST exhaust. I threw on a Pro Taper bar tonight. She's really coming together.
@@NicoleEspinosaPro Taper Contour Carmichael edition in gold. Blue would have looked great too. Kinda wished I bought the blue one. You'll have to keep the oem grips though unless you want to strip your throttle tube down. I did... Took about 2 hours. Pain in the ass.

Alright, angel, I'm taking it on one mod at a time, and doing the electrical wiring myself for the LEDs and all other mods, so it's not speedy, but so satisfying. Sketching out the drawings for the sidecar, and will be getting some drawings for the chassis from a sidecar friend. Stay tuned.
Hey Motostache, I'm so glad this vid was helpful for you. So, here's an addendum to this video. I just added a 2nd petcock to the tank, so I don't have to tip it over when the left side runs out of gas below the petcock. I'll show you pics if you want. I actually had a shop do it when it was in for getting the carb cleaned.
I have just bought the same bike .. Looking at hacking mine too so will watch with interest . My sidecar will have to be on the left though ( New Zealand ) none of that emission's stuff here either :) Thanks for video

Looks great. I've been waiting to find that same tank in stock somewhere but no luck so far. Did your bike have a pair valve? My 2022 came with one and I'm looking into removing it with all the other emissions stuff

Did you watch the whole video? Does what I removed and capped off look like your pair valve? Maybe I just didn’t know it was called a pair valve. My sidecar build is going to happen after I move to Borrego Springs, CA this summer. Other projects have taken priority over it, so the car build has been delayed for a bit.

Blueman, you are an absolute doll. Not a mechanic apprentice, here. In fact, you should see me in the garage watching so many videos on YT before dialing in how I'm going to tackle each mod. You will laugh when you watch my bar conversion where nuts and washers are falling out of the clutch housing, or wherever, and I have no idea where they came from. @@sheepdog819 no, I didn’t need to change the front flashers, because of the new tank. But, I replaced them for aesthetics, anyway, later down the road on the mods.

@@apostate4apostate494 jetting isn't necessary, Angel. I'm going to test the horsepower before jetting, and before I get a new exhaust system. Right after I install my new hydraulic clutch, I'm going to button her up and hit the road with her to test all the mods, so far.

Do your turn signals hit the tank?
Overcome, I no longer have stock turn signals, so they don't hit the new Acerbis tank. I have Yoshimura signals.
Did u have to invert the turn signal lights? And if so can u show how u did it.

How much horsepower did you gain?
Going to jet it first before riding and testing how much HP I gained.
