@@miah8163The main difference being that effect of droll is only for that turn is activated. Skill drain is far worse because it's a continuous trap on the field that specifically negates monster effects on the field meaning it shut off a lot of normal or special summon or activated effects.

For the current format, it is definitely a powerful effect against the snake eye engine and decks but I would agree argue that skill drain would be worse in certain match up where on field monster effects negating is more impactful and devastating because of the lack of play enabling.
