The Immune System: Phagocytosis | A Level Biology Revision | AQA

What happens when you get a cold? Your body fights back against the bacteria/virus with a process called Phagocytosis!
Phagocytosis is your body's first line of response when fighting off a pathogen. Your phagocyte will eat up the pathogen and release the pathogens antigens on its surface (now called an antigen-presenting cell) to identify the remaining pathogens.
This is for all A Level Biology AQA, OCR and Edexcel Students and vital for AS Biology.
