Love your informative videos and would like to see how to update my new SR2100 receiver. I keep getting the can not message. I would appreciate your help with this. I can't register it either automatically or manually as it is not a product listed in the drop down on the Spektrum Register Product page.
Kindly I have an SRS6110AT receiver and I noticed that at one point that when I used the brakes the car kept on going without a break that I turned the steering to try and avoid the pavement but still the car crashed because it kept on going without breaks.
I checked the runs from the Max6 data log and that particular run the ABS and brakes failed and did not function properly.
Please note that I used the ABS factory settings with 50/50 and -10 as they were adjusted by the maker on the DX5 PRO.
The DX5 PRO radio and SRS6110AT receiver are new.
Do you think I should register and update the receiver because I already updated the DX5 PRO?
Please explain to me why in the "SPEKYTRUM PROGRAMMER, with any Air Receiver that I currently have (3 - AR637TA and 1 - AR8360T), only the "MODELS / SOFTWARE UOPDATE" Options appear and the "MODE SETTINGS / INITIAL SETUP"? Thank You

Tom I have a problem connecting AR637TA thru USB programing cable, noticed when trying to connect get a overcurrent status on PC once I check the Power cable? The servos turn hard one way & never get a connect status ?

Do I have to down load a different spektrum program to update my esc, batt chrgr and my spektrum program box. Or are they all down loaded with the sr 315 download ?

I just ordered the outcast 8s what do i need to be able to use the smart features? I know i need the Bluetooth module but do i need to update the receiver also?
Why can't spmxca200 do this? Updating 6 receivers inside closed boxes is alone going to be a tadk. But I have to buy a $25 cable? Castle field programmer updates receivers when a usb cable connects it to pc for pass through. Not very happy with my $600 switch to spektrum radio.
Have put an ar400 receiver into my Apprentice with a 45 Amp smart esc ,using a smart battery , problem I can not get full telemetry just the transmitter batt voltage, no RPM, power pack volt or anything else, have used auto config and updated all the parts. I was wondering if the the ar400 is not compatible for telemetry, the ar600 gives me nearly everything.

I have a dx6 transmitter and I can’t get it to bind on dsm2 or lemon dsmx reciver. Is the transmitter at fault they all bind to dxi transmitter. What recivers will bind with the dx6
If the DX6 is an EU version it will not bind to DSM2. Not sure about why you are having issues with Lemon RX. Make sure when you bind you are not too close to the receiver.
Just trust it’s working if you do not get any alert from the aircraft, then unplug the battery and take out bind plug. When you turn everything back on just trust it will be binded. Worked for me with a mix match setup
When I go to plug in my cable to my pc nothing happens, I cant click connect or power cable or anything. Ive checked the cable is plugged in correctly, any ideas why thats happening?
I purchased five spektrum SR6100AT to fit them in my cars and use them with the DX5C but they are not good because I couldn't use the AVC and had to make the settings to the lowest possible from 3 to 5%. I realised this when one of them wasn't binding and I replaced it with the SRS6110AT and I could adjust the radio settings around 75% and could also use the throttle AVC with the DX5C and the cars moved in a perfect straight line without wobbling.
I tried to make contacts to see if they can replace them or give me a good offer but up to now nothing!
We spent thousands of euros on this hobby and we should be treated better in my opinion!
Will the updater and programmer apps work on Windows 11? I have both apps installed on my laptop with Windows 11 but no luck connecting any of my Rx`s (AR9020/AR10000/AR7010/AR6210 etc)?
When you plug the smart esc to a motor does it matter which way round the leads, will it automatically turn clockwise or do we still check before packing everything away.
Hi Ian, it ultimately does not matter. If it is spinning the wrong direction, either swap the leads OR change motor direction in the ESC settings
Hi! I want to know what the B, L and R ports on the receiver do and which ones I should use. Because there are 2 satellite connection ports out of the box (SPEKTRUM AR9030T ) . Which one should I use for which ports? In addition, I am using a PIXHAWK HEX cube Black model auto pilot. I will use it manually. I have been told to connect the receiver with the cube from the spkt port on the cube, but I do not know how and where to connect it with the receiver. Can you help?
Important note (so you don't waste hours of your life trying to work it out like me!): After updating Spektrum receiver firmware, you need to unbind your Transmitter and rebind it before some updates will work. e.g. Updating AR637TA so you can disconnect SAFE mode via 'Forward Programming'. This is not mentioned in the tutorial.

Sup bruhtha ..I’m new to spektrum..I got tired of soldering and went and bought the basic transmitter (dxe)the as410 rx..the blutooth tx/rx..just so I could get a wing in the air..now fam I get the stabilizer(Lennon)or should I not since I’m o my running 4 channels..and also with the satilite doesn’t it let me do mixes orrrr?

Can I connect a temperature sensor to the XBus port or any other port on the receiver to read the temperature of the motor, batteries or esc for example with the telemetry system of the DX5C radio?

How do you register the SR6110AT Receiver. I tried for hours and it wont connect to the Programming app. The light flashes and the it says connected but cant detect device.

On the programmers application, where do I find what receiver program is on my ar631? Also what does it mean check for updates in the app when my receiver is connected?
That is labeled directly on the receiver in most cases (item number for plane it came in) Check for updates is exactly that, it will ping our server and see if your receiver is out of date and suggest an update.

Works on DX18 DX10T and DX9 First gen models, other then that no.
Hi. How do I set up a Ar636b to a motion rc ov-10 bronco. How do you set up Safe and AS3X on a plane that is not on the list in the spektrum programer

I just ordered the AR7200BX USB interface, apparently that's the wrong one? Will it not work for the Transmitter/Receiver firmware updates? Why have all these individual programmers and not just 1 programmer that works for reverything!?
The AR7200BX is a flight controller developed by Microbeast with a Spektrum receiver built in. Completely different devices designed by different companies really. IF you have a SR515 that does not have the Smart Logo on it then you will want to update to get Smart support, beyond that there is no need to update for general use.
@@SpektrumRCvideos I do like the newer RX like the SRS6100AT and SR6110AT they are newer updates for FW, and telemetry. I do not care about telemetry but FW updates would be nice for SRS6000 so my question if I have NO issues with my SRS6000 is there just a "must" do upgrade for the other RX? AVC and all functions work just fine.
Is there a way to UNINSTALL the update on the receiver?
I've tried a LED light controller with the SR6100AT but could not get functioning brake lights, possibly because the AVC or telemetry was interfering with the throttle signal, even after properly disabling AVC according to the manual (3 quick presses during binding). I now use the SR515 but would like to try telemetry again!
In some cases you can roll back to older firmware, but in your case, if AVC is the cause, then there are no updates that are going to change that. BUT disabling should make the throttle channel work just like any other. What exactly is happening?

The light controller is a DG-1 Dragon II controller from MyTrickRC (excellent kit). It has a mode to use functioning brake lights. However, using this mode with the SR6100AT receiver, the brake light LED flickers very randomly and sporadically. I think AVC is probably the cause even when disabled, or possibly telemetry
So, I used the SR515 instead and the brake lights work perfectly 👍
I wondered if I could update the SR515 to use telemetry on my DX5 Rugged once again, BUT, only if it was possible to uninstall the update if it was actually telemetry that was causing the brake light fault

@@yaffajaff One thought I have is instead of Y harnessing off the Throttle channel is to Mix throttle to say Channel 5. That way you are avoiding the potential of AVC or Telemetry causing any issues.

How do I get the Smart ESC screen on my new DX8e Transmitter? Right now, I'm unable to bind/program my smart esc 100 thru my FC6250Hx receiver....
At this time Programming the esc via text gen programming on the 6250HX is not supported. Keep an eye out for a update to come in the near future :)
Actually a update just came out that supports Textgen. So it should be working on v5.5 for the 6250HX. Make sure your radio is up to date as well :)

What happens if you don´t have a Windows PC? Would be great if you could add Linux support or at least the possibility to update via an Android smartphone! Not even my parents (70+) use Windows anymore and more and more people walk away from Windows...

#SpektrumRC- 1ST IT SHOULD ALREADY come upgraded with the latest firmware in my opinion! Question - I just bought the Spektrum RC DX5C 5-Channel DSMR Surface Radio w/ SR6100AT for my ARRMA KRATON AND i am wondering do I need to do any updates on this remote? 2nd, if I wanted to control my ARRMA Notorious or other rigs w/ my Spektrum RC DX5C 5-Channel DSMR Surface Radio what receiver can I buy in order to get the AVC to work or do I need to but another SR6100AT 6-Channel Receiver AVC / Telemetry???

The DX5C Smart is already updated. And all our receivers at this point are coming with the update. For AVC, currently we only have the SR6100AT. Hope that helps!

Check polarity of plug, try the power via cable option, and in some cases you need to click the connect button. Otherwise more info may be needed to help troubleshoot

Funny how NONE of this very helpful information is not mentioned anywhere on an axial box with a smart capable vehicle nor does it mention this in the instruction manual. I had to contact horizon hobbies and wait two weeks for them to get back to me with this info.

I cant even get my dx5c to update I'm not to happy about it at all. About to throw all my spectrum out the door.
I had an issue with the same thing yesterday... I found out (reading RC Groups Forums) that you need to use at the most, an 8 gig SD card that is "not" rated as a 10. I found an old crappy 8gig SD card and it worked better then my 32 gig sd card

25 dollars for a cable to update products you sell pahetic thats the problem with hobbico your parts are too expensive you nickel and dime us sell a 200 dollar transmitter cant include a cable wtf!! Traxxas easily updates through the bluetooth module then again thier remotes out of the box can bind 20 cars you make us buy a new 200 dollar remote!!! Then 25 bucks for a damn cable!! You think you could jus add bluetooth to it let us use an app but no you need to make more money Your diffs that are known to leak and go bad 100 bucks Traxxas 50 your receivers 80 and up Traxxas 50 bucks over priced and you want more DO BETTER

Kindly I have an SR6100AT receiver connected and DX5C Radio transmitter, and it was working fine, but I needed to change the travel from the settings, so afterwards, I tried to bind it again but it was failing every time I tried.
The indicator bulb does not work, and it had been for some time, but still, it was functioning properly, so I don't know if it is going in binding mode. The esc starts to flash fash but still can not connect.
Do you think it needs an update, or do I need to replace it?
