The cADDY is sweet! I love how the hood (we call it bonnet) just sits so well and that fender almost looks like it was born with the car. That bumper was just perfect. Even a second look wouldn’t reveal that this was a rebuild.
I still can’t believe that this car only cost you net $265!! Clean up those headlights with some 600 grade sandpaper and water, then use a clearcoat spray on them. It makes them look so new.

*Man, if someone came to me from another state with the parts I really needed for a built and stayed some time fitting them. Then he would get some more from me than just a shout out!* I mean, I just would have no time going to a guy in other states with hard to get parts spending the rest of the day wrenching. He is an awesome car guy for sure. I hope you paid him some strong money otherwise he earns you a big favor man...

I did more work to rebuild my wifes expedition to replace the core support and front clip after hitting a deer then he did.... I'm far from a body guy forsure.

SRX turned out good. That OEM grille looks way better on there. Civic looks really good, especially considering how bad the damage was that he described. After a hit like that you really shouldn't expect to get perfect panel gaps, and for the money he said he's got in it who cares. It'd be a great car to just drive, and should last a long time.
Need to adjust the hood stopper driver sides sittin alot higher
Keep it for the winter!! It’s your best option money wise for a car!! You’ll still be able to sell it for a huge profit in the spring or summer after getting use out of it.

4 Months work, if he worked 8h/workday on the civic it's a money dump. - if he did something now and then and didnt clock too many hours for it, its okay.

Now what did you actually end up with. I know you paid more than 265. 600 auction fee, 80 dollar online fee etc. Normally close to 1000 in fees after the winning bid. Then there's the cost of restore. So what's the honest cost you actually have in this thing?.

I am amazed. 265$...unbelievable. How much in total was it to fix?? Looks great, but as others have stated, fix the headlights and you could probably sell it for alot more. Fogged headlights add years to a car.

You are what inspired me to rebuild a Nissan Rogue for my mom. I got a steal and only paid $700 for a 2010 rogue with a bumper, headlight, fender and hood damage. In total I paid $1300 for a nice daily.
Can’t you make playlists for the cars you work on ? Instead of being unable to follow specific car rebuilt but jumping from a video to another randomly.....
nice work! I know you do a lot of late models, check out SOLUTION FINISH to refinish the dark exterior plastics on your projects for a consistent appearance. People pay more for pretty cars.

Use WD-40 on the headlights so the fog goes away . Other than that it looks absolutely perfect and I wouldn’t guess it came from an auction lot.

Can you explain something? I've seen this many times on YT videos that someone sticks the damaged headlights, bumpers and what have you with a ducktape and hit the road? How come it's street legal in US? Here in EU, I would be stopped, my car documents held by the police and I would be told to tow the car to the garage to fix all the damage then I would need to pass the "post-damage" inspection to be able to go back on the street clean and legal.

Isn't that grill on the damaged front bumper a billet custom piece? I think that would make the car valued higher. It looks 'Plain Jane' with the original grill.

Lol no, I've seen his type before. He buys them cheap but pays someone else for the work. He had to of pay at least a 1000 for this guys work. And over 600 in parts. So now that thing cost 2000. When it would of been only a 1000 total if he did it himself.
paint dont match on the mechanics car (frt pillar and lf fender)..now just roll back the speedo 50k and you can make 5k on it?

civic looks OK during the walk around I could tell where it was hit before he said it. not a horrible repair but definitely not like its OEM again. but then again for the price cant beat it

That's a sloppy job I could see a bigger panel gaps near the door and the hood, but if this was a quick fix then it's ok

I believe for what you have in it. I would just keep it for a daily for a year or so. Then sell it for like $3500 obo.
Looks good. Do all of the electrical things work? Lights, fog lights? Also, you should buff out the headlights.
At the 7:00 mark, I use a hammer onto a block of wood. Protects the paint, and does the same job of straightening the metal.

You need to keep that one don’t get rid of that one that’s good is that going to get right now I like that body style and you put a lot of work into it that is a good job
There is a lot easier way to pull off pinstriping paint then using that drill with a bid on it. You use Easy-Off oven cleaner spray when it starts to wrinkle the paint and then physically wash it off with water thats all. it will not ruin a clear coated paint job. Im a pinstriper of 12 years

I did this exact repair on a 2008 Saturn Vue for my buddy pulled the core support with chains a hammer and a mullberry tree
