- In this video, we put the spotlight on The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in Nevada (commonly referred to as The Cosmopolitan or The Cosmo) and check out their wraparound terrace suite in the Boulevard tower with the Bellagio fountain view.
The Cosmopolitan first opened in Las Vegas in December 2010 and includes a 100,000 sq ft (9,300 m2) casino, 3,033 rooms across two towers (The Boulevard and The Chelsea), as well as a 3,200-seat performance theatre and various restaurants and speakeasies. As of 2022, The Cosmo is now part of MGM Resorts International's portfolio. But is this spot right for you? Join me as we check it out!

Great tour. So my friend that lives there told me Cosmo and many other luxury hotels are losing their spark. Especially in the customer service dept. I felt it a little bit when I visited last summer. I hope that LV keeps their standards high, they cannot afford to have so much bad word of mouth.
Anyway, with that said I think I'm pulling the trigger and moving there. Sooner than later. Then maybe we'll finally meet! lol. Keep up the good work friend. 😃

I do agree that a lot of the luxury properties rely on their name and don't always deliver on much else. Moving to Vegas sounds fun! I've always thought about it but being from Canada would make it a bit more difficult. Plus I wouldn't want Vegas to lose its allure by being there all the time. We're already booked to go back in April and I find myself less excited since I was just there. I'm sure it will still be a blast though.
Our paths will hopefully actually cross if you're a full-time resident!

I want to experience LV for a year or two. Just see what happens, but yes, looking forward to the adventure. Have fun in April. I hope to get out there ASAP.

Thanks so much! That's a good question. We were there for four nights and I don't recall having any issues with the internet. I wonder if that's specific to certain rooms or towers? I've stayed at the Cosmo probably close to 10 times and don't recall ever having any problems but I'll definitely make a note of it for the next time I visit. I had a lot of problems there with Wi-Fi. It was my wedding weekend so we let a lot of stuff go. I know what you mean, though because sometimes you really do have to escalate things. Sometimes you have to speak to the manager, karen😂

Great tour! The view looks stunning! Did you get to hear the music from the fountains while on the balcony? I'm a bit concerned about smoking there (I've seen ash trays on the balconies in other videos) as I have asthma.
I looked at Cosmo a couple of weeks ago, there was a deal for $600CAD. I was looking at booking direct through Cosmo. My first thought? Per night, not including taxes and resort fee. Wrong, it was for the entire stay, all included (except meals) - no comps as I'm only Sapphire tier.
Sadly, stupid me did not jump on that deal to your comment about the current economy my second thought was "Why? What's wrong with it?"
I think I'm so used to seeing high prices at the decent hotels now that I start to question deals when they do come up.
Unfortunately, you don't really hear the music with all the traffic and hustle and bustle from the strip. Still a great view and all around fun vibe. I don't think the smoking will bother you unless the person right next to you is smoking. But honestly you should be fine! That does sound like a great deal. We're heading back in April and were debating booking Cosmo again but the comps and rates weren't as friendly. I think it's a busy time as there must be some kind of conference happening. It's one of my favourite places to stay so I think you'll enjoy if you do manage to find a good deal. I have some other videos of my stays including some of the restaurants and the pool. @@Spot_WrightI know when I looked at the event calendar for my dates they have EDC at one end of the strip (but mostly the race track) and kids Expo at the other end. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the EDC cosplay on strip at night time. Unfortunately with Tropicana closing, Vegas is losing all those rooms, so that will make it even busier.

You seem to visit casino resorts al lot and get expensive rooms. Do you work for a travel agency?
Unfortunately no. We either pay for them or get them comped.
