Antique Willys Truck Christmas Card Tutorial

  • This lovely 1951 Willys truck (later the company was purchased by Jeep...) was still driving around Thunder Bay, Ontario this summer. The owner was kind and allowed us to photograph it. Such a beautiful and functional vehicle! I have been inspired to paint it a few times. This time, I created a more cartoony version for a Christmas card.
    Here are the supplies used:
    Arches 100% cotton 140 pound cold press bright white paper ~5 by 7 inches
    Green tape
    Princeton Aqua Elite and Heritage brushes
    Simply Simmons Liner Brush 10/0
    Preppy fountain pen in fine 03 for the sentiment
    Table salt
