  • We finally build/finish 3D printed Boba Fett Helmets! For today’s project, we are proud to partner with Intrepid Dawn 3D Printing and WS Custom Liners. Intrepid Dawn provided fantastic 3D printed Boba Fett Helmets kits and WS Custom liners provided a set of Boba Fett helmet liners.
In the first Make / Two episode both James and David finish their own unique version of this iconic bounty hunter’s Mandalorian Helmet! James goes with the Re-Armored Helmet / Boba Fett Fresh paint look from the Mandalorian / the Book of Boba Fett, and David does the weathered classic Boba Fett helmet.

Looks great! - I would definitely recommend trying out some liquid latex instead of toothpaste tho as it is just as cheap, but will dry in less than a few minutes and you can peel it off with your fingers as soon as the paint is touch dry

Great work guys, I never seen someone use cinnamon for rust, but it looks pretty good! And with the toothpaste, there is a (I think it’s called) masking gel, that does the same thing but it’s a little more sticky. Anyways great projects I’ve been real excited for this one, and I am excited for future projects as well!

Okay , I’m at a stand still for what top coat to use. I’m doing the weathered Boba Fett with the Rubies helmet. I don’t know what to use. I used a Matt on my blaster redo. A Rubies also. Came out great. And the Matt I bought was horrible and I had to redo the whole blaster. Did not bother with a top coat second time around for fear of that happening again . I bought a different Matt. The one you used, but I’m hesitant to use it. Your final answer? Thanks
