How does he pick so fast? I can pick fast as fuck on a single open string, but I can’t pick fast when I need to actually translate it to playing a riff. My hand just seems to stutter and doesn’t do it even though I can move my picking hand and fretting hand fast enough.

Do you know what plectrum thickness you use and strings?
Yeah, I use 1.25mm picks most of the time. I also use 9-46 gauge strings.
