I'm listening Julia since more then 3 years ago and I'm sure that SHE's the best singer at this days! Listening her everywhere: car, home, walking and shopping. Nothing beats her talent!

Hey Tara. I just wanted to know I've been going through a rough time in my life right now. And I know you are a fellow Christian. I've been watching some of your videos, specifically your "throne room confessions", and they have helped me so much, so I just wanted to thank you for that. And for what your doing with your channel, it's helped me so much as well and I honestly credit you for getting my singing voice to where it's at, I couldn't have done it without you. Xoxo😊

I appreciated the most the changes between loud and not loud parts with extremely "steps-less" changes in volume and then often having still extrem pressure to add a low but not too low but loooong and all through crystal clear and very distinctive melt away.
This is my favourit, extreme precision

what is a greeeeaaat musician in contrary to a normal one: sticking to YOUR story:
at the phrase around 6:09 she is "a tempo", but when this phrase is over, she is not thinking "okay, this was this (a kind of "break off", reflecting a thought), so "now back to the rest of the story", no, she show, in her interpretation SHE feels, the whole story has changed and so she keeps a "kind of a tempo" until the end or/and at least a very soft and low, "thoughtful" mood til the very low, "private" end. A master of an artist, cause this is "her story"

I first heard this song in a movie about castratos! Interesting, though, that Handel, in his early life, spent his time in Italy! Julia has a love for Handel's Italian music and explained it in an interview in London during the release of her album on this very theme!!

that's what i thought! i thought she would recognize her right off the bat, since Julia's previous performance was way more gutsy than this one (this one is more subdued but still superb, of course). maybe Tara is just doing so much video reactions that sometimes she doesn't notice anymore if she had already reacted to the artist in the past.

Hey Tara, a recommendation in the classic style that I would really appreciate if you could review, is “Non più mesta” by Cecilia Bartoli. Really really good!

    Tara,
You mention so-called "diaphragmatic pulsing." The diaphragm functions only to inspire air. All musicians, especially wind musicians need to expunge anything about the diaphragm from their verbiage. It's nonsense talk to sound highfallutin. Pavarotti and Joan Sutherland spewed this drivel. The diaphragm does not "support," does not "push," does not ..."
There MIGHT be an exception to the diaphragm's function. It is suspected, but not proven, that the diaphragm functions, albeit very poorly, to expire air in advance emphysemics whose diaphragm has been deformed and function perverted. I discussed this in my book, "Music and Dance." Therein, I also discuss "flail chest" in regards to diaphragm function.
    Otherwise, I love your videos.

A more idiotic ‘reaction’ I have not heard. Julia is a legend. If I was the anchor I wouldn’t sing along.
