Lucario's battle with Bea's Machamp is one of my favorites. Gigantamax vs mega evolution is awesome, especially when Machamp took a point-blank Aura Sphere to the face
I so badly wanted to love Ash's Lucario... but... I just hoped for so much more from his storyline, you know? I thought he was great as a Riolu, even if he wasn't given the best storyline ever. But then I just didn't care for him after he evolved. Honestly my favourite part of his character was that he showed us that Greninja's Bond Phenomenon was somewhat linked to Aura, which was awesome to me. And Lucario did a great job VS Cynthia. But yeah... I still hoped for more haha, after being so hyped about the concept of Ash catching a Lucario for over a decade!

My only gripe with Lucario, and Ash’s journey’s team as a whole, is that we didn’t get many episodes showing their full personalities, especially after evolving.
That's very true that Ash's Journeys team didn't necessarily have the most fleshed out personalities, but besides being focused on his battles primarily, I think the main reason why they got less personality is because they had Goh as a secondary protagonist. It's for this reason that they didn't get as much development, in my opinion, because with them splitting the story between having 2 main characters they couldn't afford to devote as much time to the personalities of Ash's Pokemon in a series were he was aiming to reach the title of strongest trainer.
I personally loved Ash’s Journeys Team but I definitely had the same gripe like you mentioned in the comment. I don’t hate Galar at all or dislike it at all but I wished they showed more Galar representation in terms of the Pokémon and the characters because I entirely think that everyone can unanimously agree that they got shafted hard. 😬😰

Lucario was certainly a top tier battler for Ash and held the honor of becoming his first mega evolved Pokémon. Though feel there could’ve been a bit more with the relationship between Lucario and Greninja, along with Lucario possibly having infernape be a sparring partner as both overcame much in their respective journeys.
Lucario was indeed one of the best and strongest Pokemon Ash had. And his Performance in the Masters 8 against Cynthia and Leon were Amazing. I'm very surprised that this Lucario isn't the same one from the Pokemon movie just reincarnated. The writer's could've easily said that Ash's Lucario is the chosen one reincarnated
We need Ash’s Mega Lucario vs Mewtwo. Crazy how he took down Cynthia’s Garchomp even though it would’ve been cooler to see Mega Lucario vs Mega Garchomp.
Seeing the sponsor of the video made me chuckle. I love that ash finally got a Lucario and finally got to mega evolve i just wish it didn't take so long
Request: history of ash,s talonflame. Or history of kiawe,s charizard. Seeing ash,s lucario true potential made me love lucario even more! (Since it’s one of my favorite Pokémon and mains in smash bros) lucario, you did well at becoming the next ash Greninja.
Ash's Lucario is also possibly right next to Pikachu for having been affected with a history of status ailment effects; Confused, Poison, & Paralyzed (THREE TIMES!!!!)
Fun fact: After evolving, Lucario never lost an official trainer battle (so Mewtwo and Articuno don't count) without first getting a win. I would like to see Sirfetch'd next, he's my favorite Journeys Pokemon. In my opinion, Sirfetch'd is Ash's strongest non-ace pokemon.

I was already super hyped about journeys after Ash got, Dragonite, and Gengar. But I know I speak for the whole Pokémon Community when I say that the day, his Riolu evolveing into Lucario answered the prayers of many Pokémon fans ever since we saw a Lucario and the mystery of mew and I was totally ecstatic. I also find it fitting that it became one of the strongest Pokémon he ever had. My heart felt like it was using bullet punch against my chest when Lucario lost to dragapult against Leon. I have to admit it made for some excellent writing for the Pokémon that served as his ace that we believed to give Ash some winning momentum being his second Pokémon to go down. It really got me on the edge of my seat to the battle, and made his victory in the end all the more meaningful. Because let’s be real, no, Pokemon can take away Pikachu spotlight. 😂 Ash getting Lucario was an awesome experience!

@@WhatDoesntkillYa time is not the main factor that determines how strong a pokemon is. Between their bond, which gave little Riolu the strength to take on Onix, how often they trained together, and how they kept battling progressively stronger opponents by climbing through the ranks of the world championship, I can see how Lucario was able to become as beastly as it did
@ the idea was to build tension for the audience by having his ace that you’d think would bring Ash some winning momentum get knocked out early in the battle
Man, I really like how Ash got Lucario to Mega Evolve. But they still gave it a big fail against Cynthia against Mega Garchomp. To be honest, I wanted to actually see another Ash vs Korrina rematch but Mega Lucario vs Mega Lucario. Okay so you came down here, congrats. I wish journeys gave us more backstory episodes like Cynthia for example. We see she got Garchomp as an egg but a big mystery is where did she get the Key Stone and Mega Stone? From Sycamore as an adult? Kalos Adventure with Diantha to get one? Journeys missed SO many opportunites.
Man riolu needed a Infernape level long development arc, ash having aura and teasing them together multiple times only to not give him a riolu/lucario was evil, then it finally happened in the most awkward time of the series
Ash finally caught a Lucario and it beat Cynthia’s Garchomp! Let me repeat that: It beat Cynthia’s Garchomp! Btw, thank you for this history, Professor! :)
It's funny that Lucario lost to Articuno because I remember a certain other ace of Ash's beating an Articuno pretty handily. But jokes aside it was great that Ash finally got a Lucario, it felt so built up after the Aura movie, but it is disappointing that nothing was done with that, having Ash also learning some Aura with Lucario would have been really cool.
Heh.. I was able to subscribe to you recently, Alex. :3 And of course... heh... I was able to time it so well when I got that notification involving of course my personal favorite from Ash's Journeys team: Ash's Lucario. (Gosh... it just feels so good to say that! :D) :3 While I may slightly disagree with your third complaint, still... pre the classic saying: Better late than never. :) And besides... I'm still glad that Ash was able to keep his Lucario even by the end of Ash's run as main character of the Anime. ^^
Here an question, I still wanted Ash to have the riolu from sinnoh but if he had, who would he had in journey, since ash hate using his old mon beside pikachu
Unrelated but I think it’s a bit sad Ash finally won the World Tournament with only new Pokemons. I would have loved to see his old pokemons make a return, and finally get the victory they deserved. It could be like a “best of all” team with Charizard, Snorlax and Sceptile for example. It’s fair to have new Pokemons of course, but I would have preferred a nice mix of old and new. I didn’t see all the tournament though so I may be wrong
Lucario the Goat. Hope to see Ash return sometime in Pokemon Horizons as a mentor for Liko and Roy. Kinda glad he caught Lucario in Journeys because I feel there wouldn't be as big of a focus on Aura and Mega Evolution didn't exist during Diamond and Pearl. He's worthy as Greninja's spiritual successor but Greninja is still on top behind Pikachu of course
Ash’s pignite next it doesn’t get as much love compared to charizard or infernape being a copy of them but was a powerhouse defeating it’s evolve form a pseudo legendary and threw a giant golurk
Professor make a video on Pokemons Which looks to be one type but in real are of different types Like dunsparce who is a Normal type but looks like bug Like
I still keep thinking ask Lucario should had these specific move set. 1: Auro Sphere 2: Bone Rush 3: Meter Mash 4: Counter or Drain Punch or Extreme Speed
I think Ash’s Lucario is one of his Strongest Pokemon but you forgot he got one more battle at the end of The last episode of Journeys we’re he got to battle a random trainer’s Lapras so Lucario would have 16 Wins 7 losses and 2 Ties and he will now have 64% win rate and I agree their should’ve made it have a Connection to Sir Auron’s Lucario from the movie and Do Ash’s Lycanroc next.
You know when I first saw Ash’s Lucario Mega Evolve I was expecting for it to loose control of itself and go completely insane much like Korrina’s Lucario but I guess I had my expectations too high 🤔
It's a real shame that the Aim to be a Pokemon Master special didn't feature: Muk, Tauros, Quilava, Totodile, Noctowl, Torkoal, Glalie, Staraptor, Gliscor, Gible, Unfezant, Pignite, Scraggy, Palpitoed, Boldore, Krookodile, Lycanroc, Melmetal, Lucario and Dracovish were not shown in Ash's Rotation or give Primeape and Greninja a chance to rejoin Ash like Pidgeot and have Misty meet and interact with Dawn for the first time as well as Iris (along with Brock), as well as Misty and Brock meet and interact with Serena, Clemont and Bonnie the first time too. considering that this speical was just 11 Episodes, the writers of the anime really should've thought've more episode ideas then just limited 11,
You know what grinding my gear? It said that lucario got "bond phenomena" Just like greninja, but ash never taking damage from every damage lucario takes
Lucario is my favorite so I was so pleased when ash caught one I like its one of ash's strongest pokemon but I'm still wondering if greninja is still stronger but I can easily say it's probably strong enough to rival infernape and charizard
I was glad that Ash got a Lucario. Ash was destined to have one. It's battled against 4 legendaries. I wish it could've batttled & beaten a legendary pokemon. I'd have love to have seen Mega Lucario vs Urshifu & also Mega Lucario vs Zeraora. those would've been great. I wish we could've seen a battle between Mega Garchomp & Mega Lucario. I wish Lucario could've battled & beaten Leon's G-MAX Cinderace instead of pikachu. A G-MAX Aura Sphere vs a G-MAX Fireball would've been so good!! I wish it could've also learned Counter & Bone Rush to replace Double Team. Bone Rush could've helped protect itself from fire type attacks. Like Greninja, it fell to a Fire type attack from Leon's Dragapult. I think Sirfetch'd should've been the one to take down Mr. Rime. that's how I felt when I watched the battle. And I agree with you on Ash should've gotten one in Sinnoh, but he's got Lucario now, & that's all that matters.

This pokemon has been teased for Ash to get ever sense the Lucario movie! It felt great when he finally got 1
We need Ash’s Mega Lucario vs Mewtwo. Crazy how he took down Cynthia’s Garchomp even though it would’ve been cooler to see Mega Lucario vs Mega Garchomp.
Lucario's my absolute favorite Pokémon and I absolutely ADORE its Mega Evolution. Even have one in my Ultra Sun file. Thanks for this video bro
We were long overdue for Ash to finally get a Lucario and I’m just happy it all finally payed off, especially with its victory over Cynthia’s Garchomp
Lucario proved it can't fall down without a fight
Ash's Lucario is also possibly right next to Pikachu for having been affected with a history of status ailment effects; Confused, Poison, & Paralyzed (THREE TIMES!!!!)
Guy was unlucky with status effects
You're right, it would have been pretty cool to have Ash's Lucario be tied to Sir Aaron's.
I'd have looooooved it
Fun fact: After evolving, Lucario never lost an official trainer battle (so Mewtwo and Articuno don't count) without first getting a win.
I would like to see Sirfetch'd next, he's my favorite Journeys Pokemon. In my opinion, Sirfetch'd is Ash's strongest non-ace pokemon.
The fact that ash has access to mega lucario is awesome
100% agreed. I love the mega concept
Born basically a year ago (cause that's a good estimate of how long ash trained them in journeys) but defeats a lifelong partner Garchomp (a point the anime purposely highlights with the flashbacks as a gible when cynthia was a kid) but gets taken down by dragapult okay. Plot Armor Thanks.
It was high all three members of the original trio have access to Mega Evolution. Ash with Lucario, Misty with Gyarados and Brock with Steelix.
I wish to see Lucario again, is my favorite Pokémon
Ash is really lucky to have this Pokemon 💙
Ash’s Lucario is one of my favorite Pokémon tbh good vid! 😁👍
I was really happy when it finally defeated Cynthia's Garchomp
@@SoraFan23 yea same
Thanks!

I think gengar's capture surprised me most 😁
@@WhatDoesntkillYa time is not the main factor that determines how strong a pokemon is. Between their bond, which gave little Riolu the strength to take on Onix, how often they trained together, and how they kept battling progressively stronger opponents by climbing through the ranks of the world championship, I can see how Lucario was able to become as beastly as it did
Kinda sad they had to write him off during the Leon battle so Pikachu could get the spotlight again
@ the idea was to build tension for the audience by having his ace that you’d think would bring Ash some winning momentum get knocked out early in the battle
Here’s one.. The History of Raihans Flygon
Actually, Lucario didn’t flinch at all thanks to its Inner Focus ability.
Perfect birthday gift ty Prof Silver
I think aura should be a type for a Pokémon
Thanks for the amazing video Professor Alex ❤
My pleasure! More to come :)
Man riolu needed a Infernape level long development arc, ash having aura and teasing them together multiple times only to not give him a riolu/lucario was evil, then it finally happened in the most awkward time of the series
Lucario can’t flinch it is confirmed that it has inner focus as it’s ability

Please correct me if I'm wrong...
Lucario used reversal, not revenge vs fan-rotom.
That was an error, hope you enjoyed the rest!
Do Videos for Maylene, Cameron and Korrina's Lucario too.
The other trainers in the anime who also have Lucario.
I like that
Ash finally caught a Lucario and it beat Cynthia’s Garchomp! Let me repeat that: It beat Cynthia’s Garchomp! Btw, thank you for this history, Professor! :)
Lucario: KAMEHAMEHA!!!
Absolutely perfect sponsor
Ash's Lucario is amazing plus his mega looks awesome
History of Steven’s metagross
Still think charizard should have gotten that mega stone 😂
My favorite fighting type because of the anime mad x and y
I had to say,Ash definitely deserves a Lucario in his team🙂😌
I agree :)
Lucario is such a powerhouse. Its moveset and mega evolution.
Heh.. I was able to subscribe to you recently, Alex. :3
And of course... heh... I was able to time it so well when I got that notification involving of course my personal favorite from Ash's Journeys team: Ash's Lucario. (Gosh... it just feels so good to say that! :D) :3
While I may slightly disagree with your third complaint, still... pre the classic saying: Better late than never. :)
And besides...
Ash's Lucario was pretty much the David to Bea, Raihan, and Cynthia's G-Max Goliaths.
I'm glad he finally got one and I do miss it.
Hopefully we get a comeback
@@ProfessorAlexSilver Hopefully in a future episode or a movie.
I'm hoping for a comeback as well :)
I think Dawn’s Buneary has waited long enough for her “walk on the runway”.
Some day (hopefully) :)
Ash’s pignite next it doesn’t get as much love compared to charizard or infernape being a copy of them but was a powerhouse defeating it’s evolve form a pseudo legendary and threw a giant golurk
3:42 Professor, there is a mistake, it's not revenge, it's revelsal, but it doesn't matter.
Yeah, you're right. I didn't notice it until after the release, glad to hear it didn't matter though haha
Your videos are awesome, you do a great job
Nice video alex
Better late than never, Ashs Lucario was worth the wait. I do agree that it's story was far too similar to Greninja
11:00 What’s the theme?
Professor make a video on Pokemons
Which looks to be one type but in real are of different types
Like dunsparce who is a Normal type but looks like bug
Like
That could be fun!
My favorite of Ash's Pokémon, no bias whatsoever :)
I can tell by your username haha
what a fitting sponsorship
I still keep thinking ask Lucario should had these specific move set.
1: Auro Sphere
2: Bone Rush
3: Meter Mash
4: Counter or Drain Punch or Extreme Speed
I'm so that had Greninja, Lucario and Charizard because those in general my 3 favorite pokemon ever as they are such cool pokemon
Awesome video ⭐
That was a slick transition into a sponsor ad
Much appreciated XD
It's a real shame that the Aim to be a Pokemon Master special didn't feature: Muk, Tauros, Quilava, Totodile, Noctowl, Torkoal, Glalie, Staraptor, Gliscor, Gible, Unfezant, Pignite, Scraggy, Palpitoed, Boldore, Krookodile, Lycanroc, Melmetal, Lucario and Dracovish were not shown in Ash's Rotation or give Primeape and Greninja a chance to rejoin Ash like Pidgeot and have Misty meet and interact with Dawn for the first time as well as Iris (along with Brock), as well as Misty and Brock meet and interact with Serena, Clemont and Bonnie the first time too. considering that this speical was just 11 Episodes, the writers of the anime really should've thought've more episode ideas then just limited 11,
Mewtwo:i'm the strongest pokemon
Arceus:am i a joke to you
The history of ash’s lycanroc and his melmetal
Professor silver, whats the status of Riolu that ash saved in Pokemon Diamond and pearls ?.. it had connected with ash via Aura
Yo professor what kind of starters you think you'll give?
Best sponsor transition ever
My work here is done :)
Your sponsor knew what they were doing
