Great content as we come to expect, when I got my original cube controls GT pro I was amazed how toy like my fanatec wheels were in comparison, this one may be worth it for me, ill start saving
What a gorgeous wheel. I've had a few Cube Controls wheels and always had a great experience with them. But since purchasing my 10" ddu I won't be buying another wheel with built in display for some time.
Great content. Inspirational for my build. Thank you and keep them coming. You have such a laid back approach, I feel like I am hanging out with a friend for 30 minutes. Your channel is excellent. Be safe!
So many magnificent wheels out there to choose from. 🙈 just goes to show how far this hobby has come. Sure, there will be more fantastic things coming our way.👍 Still its a hefty starting price but then again you get top quality and good bang for your buck.
I think this might be my favorite looking GT wheel now! Thanks for showing this, it wasnt on my radar at all and I'm looking for a new wheel. You have made my search a lot easier. I just hope there is sufficient availability on release!
I like a lot the shape of it, particularly in 320mm size but the 300mm is the size I’m often driving with. Happy if helped buddy and have a wonderful weekend 🍻
Idk but it seems like a lot of money for a wheel with a plastic front. I’m sure it’s good plastic and all but for that much money I’d expect that front panel to be cnc aluminum or carbon fibre. The ones with the gloss paint look like toys to me.
@@chepilevski Absolutely, making it out of carbon or cnc aluminum would be more labour intensive and expensive. Both would be viable options at this price point though. I think the main factor is Cube controls wanting to make a 300% profit.
Every time they come out with a new wheel I just want to throw my money at them. Been waiting on a GT wheel at the level of their Formula wheels. ( I have to always stop myself from buying a new Formula wheel when I already have one of theirs lol)
The strongest point of this wheel in my opinion is that you dontt need to use different wheels for GTs and Prototypes, You can use the same wheel for all of them. With Gts u can turn of the screnn ( if you want) and use and the 320mm grips, and with prototypes you have the screen and you can use the 300mm grips. Great move by Cube Controls.
Thanks for the review! Any chance you will be getting your hands on the new Ascher Mclaren wheel? I am very interested in buying that one when they release USB version.
I don’t know if I will have the chance but I’ve tested it several times and is very impressive wheel! Everything is top quality from Asher and can highly recommend it if is reasonably priced for sure ! I tested it just two wheels ago on the Formula Expo in drive
Nice video as always! I'm waiting on the Ascher McLaren Ultimate wheel but I’m not sure if a display in the steering wheel is actually useful, noticeable or practical. I have a normal GT style seating position. I use a lot of overlays and look around on my ultrawide screen but I have no idea how it would change when I have everything on my steering wheel. Can you give your opinion in this please? Thank you :)
Honestly, the screens on wheels are useful only in F1 seating positions for me! It is hard in GT position to look and refocus my eyes on the wheel screen! It is still useful but not as comfortable as separate screens near the monitors or the dash from the monitor itself
At 4:15 you have that Simpush RaceLogic like on the screen… How did you mounted that ? I bought the same Simpush Racelogic but don’t know how to mount…Want to have it on the exact same place as 4:15…
@chepilevski by the way, have you noticed the same thing : cammus qr on wheel side fois on moza base side. But not the other way. The cammus qr base side is a little bit wider at some point.
Great video! I really like how you provide all the information about that beautiful wheel. One question, do you use that on a Simagic wheelbase or on a Simucube wheelbase?
Hi, first of all as usual i love your content! i havé s’en that you changed from simucube to simagic. i have the simagic alpha and not quite happy with thé feeling on iracing (Lack of responsivness i think). Maybe there is something wrong with my settings ? simucube pro would be more responsive? could you share your settings please ? thx
I know you like Rainy race conditions. So my question to you is: are you excited for iRacing’s Rain weather SOON ? 😅 I like racing in rain so I’m really looking forward to it.
I'm seeing Tesla wheel in design/shape, those 6 buttons on the coloured lower shroud panel looks like a handheld console has been stuck behind. Not to my taste, i wouldn't say no to having one but the CSX blows it away in terms of aesthetics.
Understandable buddy, we all have different tastes🤛 The CSX definitely looks more busy and premium but I personally prefer the GT stile of the GTX ! Nothing wrong of having different esthetics options 🍻😁
@@chepilevski I had to jump on here quickly with an reply, don't know other social media. I just now had a firmware update for the Alpha Mini before jumping on AC. No settings changed, did a very loose lap on Nuremberg only to feel a gradual tap-tap-tap-tap... on the wheel got faster frequency at speed, thought damn it their firmware messed things up!? Nope it was me feeling flat spots on the front tyres 🤣 . Now, I am using my 270mm F1 wheel, but am I going crazy? I don't remember feeling flat spots that much or at all, even with feedback detail on 0 in simpro it's still there 👌 Simagic have worked some magic on this update I feel
What's the difference between men and boys? The price of their toys ❤😂👌 Stel can you recommend a good rally wheel with a button box for sc2 pro? Wired or wireless.
@@sheep7255 i don’t know but I think parallel thinking exists as we are all inspired from the same passion! Honestly it doesn’t matter to me as long as we get good stuff and improvements 😁
@@chepilevski Best way of thinking, if it works well, more should use it as long as they legally can. Hope it gets standardized though, so there isn't like 13 thousand different patterns, only one which works for your wheel
It pains me to say, but it looks a bit "plasticy" and cheap, especially for that price. I also don't feel to good about the removable grips. Maybe it's irrational but I just like to have the confidence that the main part of my wheel is made of one sturdy piece. The CSX3 for example really looks the part and seems to be more of a solid, purpose-built product. I don't want to sound to harsh, but this has more of a mass production, game controller vibe. Edit: You have to pay extra for colors??? They can't be serious!
I love Cube and the design is normaly awesome, if you ask me, but this shiny plastic monster is the ugliest, most cheap looking rim I have seen since... ever. A friend of mine has a really old Logitech Momo wich looks more atractive. I hope this is not the new design language of CubeControl.
This guy has the best content online for sim racing. great job my dude keep it up
Wow, thank you for the kind words buddy🤛

More wheels need replaceable grips imo. Helps the longevity of the product
That is very good point indeed
Thanks for the review, I’ve been waiting to see this wheel in action!
How does it compare to the Soelpec Spectra and which do you prefer ?
The Soelpec is similar price but better from quality and features for sure buddy!

CSX3 looks better to me but the 5 inch screen and grips are better in this one!
