"Secrets and Seduction at a London Auction House" was the tagline for this 90's drama / comedy series, starring two well loved national treasures Richard Wilson and Jan Francis, the series was created by John 'Rumpole' Mortimer.
This is episode five and it guest stars Robert Lang, Dan O'Herlihy and it was originally broadcast on Monday 7th February, 1994 and on ITV
I only knew him as Victor Meldrew. Still a grumpy old trout but now showing off a great wardrobe and sniping from a more secure position of snootiness. These have been fun, thank you.
I love this series. Wish it hadn't ended so soon.
Jan Francis an ageless beauty ❤
thankyou luv watching these
Hey up mate thanks again enjoying these
Fully enjoyable. Thank you.
Oh the Majors cat has done it again! Thank you so much, what a wonderful way to start the week. All the very best to you, stay lucky, and keep 'em coming.
What a find❤ Greenwich Village, NY looks wonderful!
Thanks Major! A good Tuesday night watch. It says something when it's better to watch this on TH-cam than watch today's offerings on the TV. I gave up on TV some time ago as it was on a steep downward collision course towards its grave....
Glad you’re enjoying it mate, and ta for stopping by and commenting. I have an idea in place for a future series that might just go down well on my channel. All the best
Agree
Most enjoyable series which I missed first time around by moving to NZ
❤ this movie
Loving this series, 🍺🍺🍺cheers from below stairs here in new🥝🥝🥝zealand 😄😄😄
Since I left the UK for the US in 1983, many of the actors and TV shows are foreign to me. I’ve managed to catch up a bit over the years thanks to TH-cam and public television which used to air One Foot in the Grave. RW will always be Victor Meldrew to me, although I have seen him in other stuff.
Thanks, anouther great episode.
Thanx.
Seriously? To entertain visitors from overseas you take them to an athletic club for a game of squash? Thx for the upload.quite enjoying the series.
Its been known!
Ikr. Never. I think it's Britians idea of Americans..😮
Shall we go play a little? says the pompous, self-satisfied Chuck.
It’s not as good as Rumpole but quite enjoyable,Jan plays a good part but Richard Wilson’s character is not very authentic to me,still better than most stuff on TV these days👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
These episodes wouldn't be same without Mr.Wilson.
This episode is a perfect example in point.
I enjoyed this but found it interesting that every waiter was black.
I find it even more interesting that every advert now has a black person in it, it seems off, false, overdone.
@@SharonTateFan67 I agree it’s either African or Asian.
