This is very last episode of Under the Hammer, a short lived 90's drama / comedy UK television series that focused on the "Secrets and Seduction at a London Auction House" starring two well loved national British treasures Richard Wilson and Jan Francis, the series was created by John 'Rumpole' Mortimer.
This is episode seven and the final episode of a series that only lasted one season, it was originally broadcast on Monday 21st February, 1994 and on ITV
Have been really enjoying this series but this episode made me think I'd missed one, thank you cat and major Dolby

Loved it, pleasant, relaxing viewing
thanks so much for these -
Happy Easter Major and thank you for the amazing entertainment you upload mate.
Just been announced, Eric Morecambe's wife, Joan died yesterday on her 97'th birthday, 40 years after her husband Eric 👍
Sad although they are now reunited.
But whats that to do with this?
Did she ever remarry I wonder?
Thanks for the info.
@@lordeden2732It's just a bit information on one of the UK's great comedians, I mentioned Eric Morecambe on last Saturday nights live n thought it was a bit of a coincidence n it just came to mind 👍
@@majordolbyscatNo, she never remarried 👍
I don't remember this series but it seemed promising with a Mortimer script and reliable stars. You can see why it didn't go further, though. The continuing story lurched around and thinned and the episode stories were weak, The central Wilson and Francis relationship was never convincing lacked chemistry and sometimes was just creepy and the other sub-strands similarly were under developed.
Really enjoying this thank you.but I might be losing the plot but I can't seem to see the number next to the next part.
They should made an 8th closure episode, did Maggie & Ben ever become more that just good friends ?
terriffic 6 episodes but number 7 shows why they called it a day ,total drivel leads handed to all but the cat, wilson who carried the whole series might just as well have been sent to coventry no plot line to speak of and im sorry this good idea ended this way.
How any female could have snogged 'Bernard' or anything much worse is way beyond my comprehension.
Slick Nick was even worse.
This was filmed before the shocking epidemic of vocal fry infected the world of female actors.
Terrible acting ,just awful
Thank the heavens you didn't have to pay to watch it then, phew.
