      Hi Tom. Agreed! Our neighbors were very rambunctious that day. That's why we got special microphones for our vlogs. It's made all our more recent vlogs much clearer. Glad you liked the content/topic!

    I always loved spin classes
    However I had left hip replacement 5 years ago. Stopped spin class for a while and went back and pushed myself to keep up with trainer and now my lower back and left hip are sore. So i think I pulled a muscle in my hip.

    It seems much more of an intense cardio workout like running when you are standing pedaling.
    Is it safe to pedal standing up for the entire workout?

    I've just got spin bike and I've got a fair bit of of menopause fat on abdomen I'm 10 st . And I'm 60 Will spinning help loose this belly fat x

      We have an entire vlog series on menopause so look that up on our vlog playlist, but otherwise just stay consistent with your rides. You can do it! I also suggest adding in strength training and stretching/yoga. Do you have an All Access Pass with us so you can access our classes at studiosweatondemand.com? If so I can tell you some specific workouts that might be great for you. I'd also suggest joining our Komrades support group. They are so amazing and they have answers for everything!

    I peddle backward at the end of each workout. It works the muscles differently. What do you think of this?

      Pedaling backwards is really fun, but there are no proven benefits to the body. It's actually pretty bad for the bike too. Every bike maintenance guy I've ever spoken with has told me that.

      No! Please don’t spin backwards. You WILL hurt you knees. Plus, the spin bike does not like that. You can break it.
