Kiki, you've helped me so much. I was pre-diabetic, obese, and out of energy all the time. I've been doing plant based for about 3 months and have been exercising for two. Thirty-five pounds are off so far. I use your videos and those of some others to find food that tastes great and helps get the weight off. I'm convinced that this plant-based, no-oil system is the very best lifestyle for humans. I know people lose weight on other types of diets, but I don't see how anyone could top this. I don't have to go hungry, and the exercise feels good. I don't feel like it's a chore to do my workout. It's something I enjoy having in my life. I've still got a long ways to go. I've got about another 80 pounds I want to take off. I'm still overweight, but at least it's going in the right direction. If I just stay the course, the rest of the weight will come off. However, I don't have to wait to feel good. I already feel that way. I'm 100 percent certain that your videos help a lot of people like they've helped me. You're making a huge difference in a lot of people's lives.
I’ve been making your vegan ranch dressing for a while now. I will never go back to regular ranch, it’s so refreshing without all those inflammatory processed oils!
@phillipsmom6252 I don't have a nice blender, so I use 1/2 water and the cashews and boil the nuts 7 minutes before blending with 1/2 cup soy milk and the rest of the ingredients
No one kill me for this, but I have a friend who has a friend who says to never mix the oil that is on top of your peanut butters! Pour those out as well! Sadly, even if it says “organic” on the container, it’s nothing but junk oil that the food industry adds just to make us sick! He knows this from working in the industry! It’s not even oil from the peanuts! So if you can find a store that allows you to grind your peanuts & make your own instead, that will always be your safest bet! 🙏🏻♥️
Maybe that's true with Jif or other crappy peanut butter that lists ingredients like "natural flavors" which means they can add anything. My peanut butter only contains peanuts and salt. If there is another ingredient like added oil they have to add it to the ingredient list because of people with allergies. It is law and they would get in huge trouble if someone has an allergic reaction due to an ingredient not listed.
I love iceberg lettuce; I craved it when I was pregnant, I could eat a whole lettuce by myself, it was crunchy and full of water. I haven't tried jack fruit yet, I think I'll try this recipe with iceberg lettuce.
For those wondering, Jackfruit can be found at Grocery Outlet if you happen to have one. Also every Asian store I’ve ever been in has it, that’s where I first found it years ago. Also it can be purchased online on Amazon but it’s a tad more expensive than in the stores.
Hi Kiki I one of your videos appeared on my feed, I’ve been looking for a program just like this! Struggling with weight all my life but I can totally relate to all! My question is: How often do you grocery shop? Do you buy in bulk? How do you plan for your shopping trip? Do you make a list? I just received your book Plantiful Lean today! Thank you for your reply. Can’t wait to start🤗💗
Pre-ordered your cookbook! I also have your Plantifully Lean cookbook. I love that you include photos along with your recipes. I also appreciate you demonstrating your recipes since I rarely make a recipe I haven't watched.
Thank you for this new recipe! Always looking forward to your new videos on YT. Unfortunately can’t afford the paid membership so I’m so happy when I see your videos. Definitely looking forward to your new book.😊
Ugh we make lettuce wraps all the time but get frusterated trying to peal the lettuce. How did we not know to cut the iceburg like that! Thankyou Kiki 😂
It is so hot here also in Bend Oregon & right now I refuse to use air conditioner ha! Thank for using TH-cam format. I'm really not on Instagram. Thank u for u being u! Love all ur videos & gonna miss u on the membership channel. If ever u decide to have it again, I'll b the 1st to sign up!
Holy moly that looks GOOD! I'm wondering if you think, instead of capers and their brine, would just some sauerkraut brine work? I hate buying stuff I'd use in only one recipe--I'm also cheap--and I always have sauerkraut in the house.
Looks super delicious!!! Iceberg lettuce is super crunchy!!! Will certainly make them!!! The dressing alone is good to have in frig for many uses!!! Thank u!!! Very doable!!!💞💞🙃💞💞
Kiki, I just received a notice from Amazon this morning that my pre-order of your new book will be delivered on July 9th..WOOT WOOT! I have the other two books, and am really looking forward to this one. Greetings and blessings from North bay Ontario:):)
Earrings link, please, so cute and the perfect sized hoop. I bought the plantifully lean cookbook recently on sale (sorry, I am frugal) and of course it’s fabulous.
Love you videos you are so helpful. I haven't had jack fruit in so long. Going to make this. Thanks. The last time I had jacket fruit I made it for a pulled pork sandwich. Do you have any other way to use it? Would love to see more recipes for it. ❤❤❤
The weirdest thing happened… I started to have gallbladder attacks last September, so I cut fat and animal products out of my diet (because those things caused my gallbladder to want to empty completely). I found Kiki and started to eat tons of veggies. I hated it at first but about 1 month into it, I absolutely adored eating! Like, I could not wait to eat vegetables. I would get so excited and food tasted so much better to me and was more rewarding! Fast forward me falling off the wagon… even though I am eating the foods I supposedly “love” without pain, I don’t “love” eating as much as when I was just eating veggies!!! It’s such a weird phenomenon! Has anyone else have this happen?
Iceberg actually scores high in Micronutrient Value(placed on the first of 3 columns of the Aggregate Nutrient Density Index(ANDI))the same row as Kale,Swiss Chard, and Romaine.
This looks so good ! Ty .... making it tonight for dinner . I am going to air fry some tofu cubes and add it instead of the croutons . Looking forward to it.
Thank you SO much for the info about Jack Fruit. I've been interested in trying it, but had not heard really how to use it (like rinsing it off)! I will definitely be trying this out, already found the exact brand on Amazon, and it's in my cart! 🙂
Hi Kiki. Thanks for another great video and delicious recipe. I have an off topic question. Your nails are so pretty. How do you get them to such a nice length. Also, do you use vegan polish? If you could share the link for the polish I would appreciate it. Thanks so much.💕
Hello Kiki, I am seriously thinking of going plant based, but, so many recipes have garlic or ginger in them, and I cannot have either, do to being on blood thinners. Can you recommend something else I can use, to replace them? Thanks. I'm 70 yes old, 5ft 1in tall, and weigh 190 lbs. Thanks.
I am so surprised you don't have air conditioning! Thanks for all the videos, you are my favorite channel to watch, still working on actually eating better lol
We are starting our own off-grid homestead and I’m wondering how you guys manage with no A/C? We live on the border of Nevada so I don’t know if we could do that, but since it takes up so much solar power, I’m very curious as to how you guys manage without it!
Well we live in the mountains of Colorado so it cools down a lot at night so we are fine at night with fans but during the day it’s pretty hot! I’m not sure but Nevada might get too hot
This looks wonderful! I live about 55 minutes to Trader Joes and Whole Foods 😢. About 30 to Sprouts. I will go there to get the pretend chicken. I will have to go through this slow and write down unless you have the recipe somewhere. You may have to get a fan for your house.
Hey! I’ve messaged on IG also but I was looking for the potato soup recipe from the paid subscribers videos on here. Did anyone write it down? My daughter is a huge potato soup fan and I’m trying to convert her from the dairy and cheese loaded version. Thanks!

Yes!!! Love that recipe. Tried regular ranch last night at a party and I don't like the HV ranch any more

Whole foods allows you to grind your peanuts into butter right at the store.

One of the reasons I tune to your channel regularly is because the intro music is so chill and calming 😊
I love the music too!
Yaass I love the intros too !
I love it too!!😂
The intro music makes me feel happy! Like I’m a little kid at the beach having fun!

The Trader Joe’s I live by doesn’t have them :(
Kiki,
Just love you, so look forward, to your videos, very new to this, but enjoying the changes. Your a blessing, so always cheerful. 👍💎💙🌻♥️🦋
I pour the oil off all nut butters and then stir them up, and they are still great, too. Take a bit out and add water if you want to spread it!
Thank you Kiki you always make everything look so dang gone delicious. You make it look so easy to eat plant based. You are very inspiring!

Salad boats, very cute Kiki and looks so delicious. Thanks for sharing your trick on skimming tahini oil 😉🩷
Love this recipe. I usually make potato croutons. Thank you Kiki❤
Iceberg lettuce is great! It has fiber, vitamin A, magnesium, and calcium! 🥬
Also, this looks amazing!
Love how Kiki use a light spray of oil. I do that also. At times we need it and it’s still low in calories 🎉🎉🎉
I love this video! I cannot wait to make these ! The colors you’re wearing, the delicious wrap something about this is so nostalgic!
Ugh we make lettuce wraps all the time but get frusterated trying to peal the lettuce. How did we not know to cut the iceburg like that! Thankyou Kiki 😂
So crunchy and refreshing. Would make fresh pretty Summer party platter🌺😎🥬🏖
It's good oil, so I usually just stir the top oil in with the rest of it. 😃💞

I actually use tahini as a spread all the time when I run out of avocados or instead of almond butter.

That looks delicious!! FYI you can hrow the jackfruit in the food processor and it shreds it up perfectly!!!
Earrings link, please, so cute and the perfect sized hoop. I bought the plantifully lean cookbook recently on sale (sorry, I am frugal) and of course it’s fabulous.
These hoops were a Mother’s Day gift from zales:)
Thankyou for sharing this meal Kiki ☺️. You encourage me to eat better.
Any ideas for a jack fruit substitute that might work besides mushrooms? Love your channel, delicious recipes, calm demeanor, and down to earth life ❤
Shredded tofu would good I bet
Tempeh

Thank you for this! Who knew!!! Just ordered some from Amazon because I’m not around anyone that sells this item apparently.
Do you have the written recipe for the dressing? Thanks 👍😋
I would love to know where you got that beautiful pink dress on your book cover.
You give up sugar completely also for example in Ketchup? Thx
Looks delish
I think you may have convinced me to try jackfruit again. These look delicious!

She’s doing he self and family a favour by not having AC. It’s very unhealthy.
Why are you surprised? It’s a cabin, not a house. 🙄
Looks yummy !! Love iceberg lettuce 🥬 It’s windy there💞

Love iceberg lettuce also!
