    Very nice and so professional. I really like how they're treating the patient and make sure they are covered properly, that actually helps so much to relax and enjoy the whole process.

    Hello! Thank you very much for taking the time to explain how to apply this technique in such detail. I would like to know how often a person should apply this technique. Thank you!

      Hi 👋
      Good question.
      Unfortunately there isn’t a set answer, as it depends on the amount of tension within the muscle, how much is reduced by treatment, the colour of any cupping marks, and how active the client is in between treatment.

    Can this be used for glute tendinopathy

    • @briandrummond6711
      @briandrummond6711 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, but not directly on a painful/inflamed/injured tendon. It's more to loosen the muscle(s) a bit and improve blood flow.

      @@newts1964 Yes can be used for that condition. Apply the cups to the hamstring at the same time and around the gluteal crease.

    Can you use castor oil instead of the lotion?

    • @CoreElementsTraining
      @CoreElementsTraining  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      massage medium / oil feels nicer on the skin for the client than caster oil. But it’s an oil, so will still enable suction of the cups.
      Hope this helps

    I just had bilateral THR and would like to go some cupping at home. Do you believe the silicone cups or the clear plastic ones with the vacumn "gun" work best?

    • @CoreElementsTraining
      @CoreElementsTraining  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi,
      they both work, but often the silicone cups provide a softer lift.
      Whereas you have more control over the lift provided by the vacuum cups.

      If you have pain on specific movements I’d advise seeing a local Physiotherapist so that they can do a full assessment to identify the problem and then they can provide treatment also 👍🏼

      Look for a Physiotherapist, Sports Therapist or Sports Massage Therapist in your area and check their website anti see if they offer Dry Cupping / Myofascial cupping etc 👍🏼
